Its inevitable, when you know the entities involved and what they want for themselves and for their own cultures and where they have to steal it from.

The US has no friends anymore, nobody that would spend a penny of their own to aid the US.
Such a power vacuum, lack of general intelligence and motivation for self preservation and the richness of the prize for others guarantees that someone who's culture worships invasion of weaklings and conquest of riches will make their move and that move is EMP which can be done anonymously and then they can sit back and let events take their course.
A number of countries are jockeying for position in this impending horse race.

Do you fail to understand that with the public dead or otherwise disenfranchiesed that govt assumes ownership of everything?
