It makes me sick that she will not listen to me at all. I have tryed so hard to get her to let me explain why the JW rewrite the Bible, but it caused so many stressful arguements that I finally just gave up.

I really believe it is why she is having so many health problems right now.

I don't think you understand, this is not "business" as usual. They shun non witness members after a period of time. This is going to end the OPs relationship with her mother and brother. She has lost her family to this.

Its very painful, worse then death which is final. Because they are alive but have rejected you ~ you keep hoping for reconciliation but it will never manifest.

She is going to be encouraged to leave everything to the church . . . sit with that for a while.

When they come to the door I simply tell them I'm a devil worshipper. They go away then.

Jovies were targeting me for a couple of years.
It took me a year to figure out. Being a polite person
I would talk with them when they came by. I thought they were
going door to door. Then I watched them come and go one day.
They drove to my home, and left my hood after a brief talk.

Next time they came, it was I who gave them some printed material. Those particular Jovies never returned. But Jovies
come by now and again. I keep a little file with several pages stapled together to give them when they do.

Now, the same ones never come back. My only concern is that I'm certain these foks who come by are innocent God fearing
decent people. I hope I'm not pushing them away from God as
that isn't the intent.

My business partner lost his wife of many years to the Jovies. He turned away from God because of it.

I believe they just don't believe Jesus is God. Which I have to say I as well believe. The Trinity makes no sense IMO.

As with anything though its their life, let them do what they want. It's up to you how YOU respond to others choices. You can either hate on it and sulk and stomp your feet in protest...I promise that gets nobody anywhere.

Or you can accept them for whatever choice they want to make. Smile and respect them by not getting all disgruntled. Its the disgruntled attitude that splits people apart not the actual choices people make.
