Report Copyright Violation | Breaking NOW! Helicopter Crashes in Downtown Wichita Falls Tx. Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene of an early-morning helicopter crash in downtown Wichita Falls. The crash happened around 1:45 Saturday morning. Right now, we know that Wichita County Sheriff's Office, Wichita Falls Police Department, Wichita Falls Fire Department, and Texas Department of Public Safety officials are on scene. At least 30 emergency units are on scene. The crash happened near the intersection of 11th St. and Grace St. We have a crew on scene.
