There is a strange skip like when you play something backwards. The bass sounds better than my headphones will do. Thanks. I have on my laptop many different EQ settings and filtered versions of this song. I also thought it needs more resolution in the higher areas above 16.000 hz but its not making emotional sense because the feeling goes away so its just working with blurry higher areas that are sounding weak so I decided to leave it this way and make it sound like its a old vintage song sounding like its coming from tape and like its from some children movie from the 80s. Its making no sense to mix such a song in higher resolutions. Actually I got this one here also in a 8 bit version with soft hiss but the lower frequencies do not work well enough at 8 bit for this song so I used this version of it and its still intense and heavy edited. I used many different EQs and complex filterings. I´m pretty happy with the results. |

Electronic music, for me, needs to have some balls for me to dig it. A lot of people on GLP "write" music...but it's all electronic. I'm curious as to how many can pick up a guitar or bass and play it or sit down at the drums and give them bastards a whirl. You found a cool chord progression and you put a fake drum beat over it. You really should add more depth to it though. Like I said...it's a cool progression but add to it and build off of it. If I'm not mistaken it was the same progression all the way through? I didn't listen to all of it but I did skip around. Write some other parts and turn it into a song because in its current state it's not a song. Again I'm not being mean just giving my honest opinion. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 39880752 I enjoy it to produce electronic computer music because long enough I was the singer in a german punk group and I also played guitar and these times are over and now I enjoy producing something else with highly complex technology. Its not that you just push a few knobs and you get such a song. The passion is to play around for hours or days and to push it everytime a bit further till its something that contains evolution. I collect EQs, complex filters and dynamic processors and put all this into my musical art. Its art. Its not music with a function. Its art and therefore it can be full of mistakes. I´m not a pro or elite expert for mixing and mastering or composing. But I guess I got my little evolution with my more than 1.200 released songs on my YouTube channel. |

I'll check out your other stuff. I understand music is art. In that respect I too am an artist. I however use real instruments...not to say I don't ever use fruity loops to get a cool synth or effect. I too sit for hours mixing and eqing my tracks. The drum tracks that I physically recorded and the guitar tracks that I recorded. If I had the time/desire I could write 1200 electronic songs too. I write songs constantly. I'm no professional either. I guess I just get irritated with all these electronic "musicians" out there. And I really didn't hear any mistakes. It's electronic. It's not like you were playing the drums and you hit slightly after or before the down best... Or playing guitar parts and fubbed a note. I will check out your other tunes though. |
