This makes it safety glass that won't shatter. You can probably even see mention of "safety glass" on the windshield. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an idiot. You hit it hard enough and it will still break, but it's not as easy as you think. The spots are caused by a buildup of crude and it needs to be knocked loose. So take a hammer and lightly tap the area with the spot. Then clean as normal. You'll thank me later. |

I was wondering if it could be that protective clear spray coat they use with new cars. So yeah, beautiful car with spots. I might try that (Mr. Clean's?) spot eraser. I get nail polish marks off with it around the door handles. It's not supposed to scratch. |
