They will deny this but know for a fact if you are older or terminal or just expensive to treat they will withhold treatment that could give you a longer life. You should put previsions of what kind of lifesaving treatment you do and dont. You can specify. They love for people to have DNR on their charts. They like to just give them morphine and withhold other treatments until you die in some cases. I went through a lot with parents learning how hospitals work when it comes to DNR. |
