Sam1 and the Sisters were able to theorize that the Massive Transit Artificial Wormholes follow electromagnetic conduction principles.

Space-time is bent in space by torsion forces (spinning of charges cosmic dust) between positive and negatively charged portals. For example, if one wants to travel across the MilkyWay from Ceres to New Ceres, one only needs to schedule a massive negative spin in one location and the opposite positive spin in the other location.

The bridge will occur to balance the charges. The key to stability is keeping a small imbalance between the two locations. Once you don't need the bridge (wormhole) any longer you allow the opposite charged space sectors to neutralize the charge imbalances.

During the stable imbalance one can travel in either direction.

For the whole system to work you need the following.

1. Locations throughout your transit system with stable clouds of Cosmic Dust of the minimum density, size and composition.
2. A stable, renewable power source and a generator to charge and spin the dust particles. Like two opposing metallic asteroids or larger metallic objects spinning in opposite directions on a precise frequency in or near the dust cloud, that may orbit in and out of the cloud predictably.
3. A schedule or table that accurately predicts the activation of the dust particle spin and the direction the dust is spinning (clockwise or counterclockwise).
4. Facilities to accept and support cargo, supplies, food, accommodations, security and local transportation within a solar system or sector.

Mona and Harry asked Sam1 and the Sisters: "What caused the destruction of the Ceres Complex?"

Moonbeam responds: "we speculate that there was an unscheduled, unauthorized massive charge imbalance initiated by Slither to move contraband, from one location to another within the older transit system.

The rotation of our habitat and bio-spheres and a confluence of a few other phenomena created an unusually large charge differential . . . greater than the one Slither's people had used to create their unauthorized wormhole. Basically their lightning struck here unexpectedly than where they intended it. It was also more massive than anything probably experienced before.

The Wormhole was short in duration but its event horizon swallowed up everything in and around Ceres except for Ceres itself. Ceres was spared simply based on its mass and orbital inertia."

Sam1 adds: "before I forget, there are a few more observations. This transit system is simple, elegant, requiring minimal moving parts and required basically no maintenance to function nearly flawlessly for from 4-6 billion years.

However, there must be one more component for it to function. There has to be one centralized chronometer that all schedules are recalibrate from. That is, each scheduled wormhole event from point A to B must periodically be readjusted so the users can know when to expect the wormhole's appearance to match the expected connection to bridge the time and distance between the two desired locations. As orbits degrade over the eons the connections between two locations could change to a different destination.

Pawnee and Santee deny any knowledge of such a chronometer. "

Mona asks: "so over the eons the wormhole bridge between two locations could randomly change because the time of the orbiting bodies generating the cloud spin could change based on a passing comet or unexpected collision from a random asteroid, etc.?"

Sam1 responds: "Yes, exactly!"

Mona asks: "Does Pawnee or Santee know where they get the information regarding the schedule of wormhole appearances and where they connect?"

Moonbeam answers: "They indicated that of the thousands of connections and the numerous repeated wormhole appearances in each location every 24 hours the loss or rerouting of an occasional spaceport is quickly discovered and the new connections and times are then re-drawn and published by a central transit authority.

While this causes significant temporary disruption few ports to their knowledge have been lost because of a scrambling of the destinations. However, once a port is permanently lost the implications are dire to those civilizations relying on the system. In known history only two to three such total losses have occurred.

This is why we believe one of the Transit Scientists was blackmailed and kidnapped by Slither. He was working on ways to create a rerouting of the wormholes from the ancient system to new locations. Since his disappearance the destructive wormhole events have been happening.

Mona asks: "So to locate an old port or potentially engineer a new wormhole transit connection point . . . one needs to find the perfect dust cloud which has the orbit of at least two periodic metallic asteroids and cause them to rotate on their axis clockwise or counterclockwise at the proper frequency at a time that matches another such connection point within the Galaxy or Galaxy group? If so can we conduct an experiment? Can we send one of Sue's probes through a wormhole between Ceres and New Ceres?"

Levie responds: "We are way ahead of you. We have located the cloud near Ceres and found there were no asteroids remaining there that fit our needs . . . they must have been destroyed eons ago. We have found the same situation around New Ceres. We are now in the search to locate the perfect asteroid species to accomplish the task. The ancients must have done this thousands of times. Our attempts will require much, much trial and error. We calculate it will take from two months to two years to get it right."

Mona responds: "whatever you need we will do it . . . get it done! By the way, how are we doing on our efforts to return Pawnee and Santee to their Galaxy and locating Slither for them?"

Sam1 interrupts: "We don't have to wait on the asteroid hunt and re-engineering. With minimal re-engineering we can use our energy weapons to create the appropriate dust spin to accomplish the same effect. I believe, the Federation could experiment with the connections within the MilkyWay at much lower energy levels without interfering with the Galaxy Group's Transit System. All we need is the schedule from the Multi-Galactic transit system to avoid any possibility of disruption. Suggest we request Pawnee and Santee give us a copy of their schedule upon their return to Leo I.

With it we can avoid any conflict. I calculate there are four hours each 24 where there are no wormhole bridges connected. I suggest those times were originally reserved for Andromeda, the MilkyWay and the Dwarf Galaxy before our subsection became inoperable. Prometheus2 volunteers to quantum time leap with Santee and Pawnee back to the debris field with the communications capability to alert the proper authorities. They will all use the Flying Diamond to travel.

Prometheus will carry with him sufficient documentation and a proposal for joint cooperation between the MilkyWay Galactic Federation and the Greater Galactic Group. The documentation he is carrying contains information about the plague ships as well as promised technical help to find and prosecute Slither for crimes against the Federation and the Greater Galactic Group.

Prometheus2 will remain until he has time to arrange a joint conference between the Federation and the Greater Group. Prometheus2 seems interested in a closer diplomatic relationship with Santee as well . . .

Seems the diplomacy was working for both the Federation and Prometheus2.

Santee, Pawnee and Prometheus2 are picked up by an Enforcer Patrol and are taken to the nearby Transit Hub which is the home world of Santee and Pawnee. Destiny and Tomlin observed in ShadowLand to ensure the rescue was made and then followed them to the home world to ensure all was well before they awoke and reported their observations.

Destiny and Tomlin hung around to see Santee give Prometheus2 a brief visual tour of her home world. Seems the diplomacy was working for both the Federation and Prometheus2.

The Sisters were overjoyed when the Transit Scheduled arrived!

The Greater Galactic Group was very receptive of the MilkyWay Federation's offer of help and proposal for cooperation; especially as it related to the plague ships and the apprehension of Slither. They sent the Transit Schedule through Prometheus2. There was a tentative date established for a conference between the two groups to occur after Mona and Harry's wedding.

The Sisters were overjoyed when the Transit Scheduled arrived!

The speculations proved correct in almost every concept.

Sam1 and the Sisters went to work immediately to test their theories. They prepared one of Sue's observation probes to leap through an artificial wormhole created by a modified mining plasma drills mounted on shuttles in the Cosmic Dust Cloud on opposite sides of the Galaxy. The issue was how much energy was enough and how long should the energy be applied.

The probe was protected by the same shielding used by the craft that went through the Central Galactic Blackhole from the MilkyWay into Andromeda.

The drills were synchronized to fire simultaneously. The system performed as expected. The probe entered on Ceres side and exited in the vicinity of New Ceres. It then returned to Ceres. The transits took only seconds. The speculations proved correct in almost every concept.

The two Sue(s) were finalizing all the details about the wedding. The Ceres' refugees moved to Mars had created a humanitarian crisis and made the upcoming celebration all the more important to lift the spirits of those affected.

The Federation was studying the possibility of relocating the bulk of them to the other side of the Galaxy to what is now an almost uninhabited planet very similar to Earth. This planet will become New Ceres in some 20,000 from now . . . as Mona and her action team is already aware.

The 10,000,000 refugees from Ceres along with the 40,000,000 on the Leviathan3 super ship complex make for a very challenging celebration.

Along with all the Federation VIPs and new media ships' and all the mothballed federation MotherShips used as temporary housing in orbit around Mars . . . it was an armada never before seen in the history of the MilkyWay before or since. It looked for all the world like a massive military operation.

The wedding was about to commence.

The Wedding procession and ceremony started in one of the bio-spheres and ended up a formal chapel . . . the wedding pictures used Mars, Leviathan3 and surroundings as background. The dragonfly motif was the central theme representing both Mona's history and the logo of Leviathan3.

The press wanted pictures of Mona and both set of parent duplicates . . . little Mona was the flower girl.

Mona and Harry are now hitched . . . let the Celebration begin!
