Sean Hannity Has the Right Idea When It Comes To Dealing w/ a Police Traffic Stop | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 71052735 United States 07/07/2016 12:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sean says that whenever he gets stopped by a police officer he rolls down his window, then immediately puts both hands out where the officer can see them -- Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30719959 and he does not move them until ordered to do so. And then, only back to the steering wheel, unless otherwise commanded ... This should be REQUIRED by law. Might as well throw in a blow job as well.....for good measure.. |

I taught my young son years ago that when stopped while driving to keep his hands in the open on the steering wheel where officers can see them and then move them to get out insurance, etc. only when instructed. I remember something our jiu jitsu instructor used to tell us, watch their hands. Hands kill people not their eyes. |

When I was younger, I was pulled over all too often for speeding. Not once was I ever shot or worried about it. I got harassed by some cops who were assholes and I was treated very professionally by some nice ones. Through it all, if a cop put his lights on behind me, I pulled over. When they came to my window I already had it rolled down to talk to them. Most of the time I already had my license ready for them to see when they got there. I answered their questions truthfully. I either got a ticket or was given a warning and then continued on my way within a matter of minutes with no drama what so ever. Don't give a cop a reason to think you are a threat and he shouldn't treat you like you are a threat. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |
