Question EVERYTHING Traveler In The Matrix User ID: 64879309 United States 01/17/2017 11:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I tried watching it like 15 times and could never get through even five minutes. It was too boring. Did anyone else have that happen to them? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70038066 Nope. I've watched the trilogy at least 15 times and I learn something each time I watch it. If you can get through the first one, you'll have to watch the other two. You won't regret it in the end. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. ~ Mahatma Gandhi "Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever." ~ George Orwell "The exact level of tyranny that you're going to live under, is the level of tyranny you put up with." ~Thomas Jefferson "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. ~ Thomas Jefferson |

This is why he can still see while being blinded and destroy the squid things with his big brain. I thought that was obvious and am only recently realising I might ave been the only one to get it. You don't get to see the real world in any of the films. |

He accessed the root kernel by getting the key code. The choice offered by the system was to either reboot, or attack the entity itself and try a rollback. Which he did. Yep, I'm a bit of genius. Good movies. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73795347 Canada 01/18/2017 12:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Matrix Trilogy is (in part) about the nature of reality, your relationship to it, and consciousness - awareness of it, the depth (or lack) of that awareness, expansion of it, owning it, and the continuing realization of the power within it. Give it another shot, open your mind. But, if you don't get it, then it's just not your time.... yet. |

It was not about reconnecting to Source, or getting free of the Machine World. It was not about liberation, or tyranny. It was not about hacking, or anti-viruses, or transcendence. The Matrix was the story of man and his guns. Lots of guns. Kung fu and guns. His girlfriend, and guns. And more guns. And then... Guns. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70038066 Allegory for real life except they (the hive) are only machine like...on the backend they are spirits of something (fallen angels, demons, witches, etc). It's hard to tell but I know they kind of howl (bark?) like some sort of animal not necessarily a domesticated type maybe something like a panther. The demons/fallen angels (at least the spirits or demons inside them) hiss so that seems to be something different. Not conjecture. |
