I'm making a lot of preparations, so is everyone at my firm.

We hope our models are wrong, or that the release of the gas will subside. We have modeled 12 different scenarios based on the data we have, and three of those scenarios result in total extinction of the human species.

Other scenarios result in massive deaths across the central and eastern U.S.

You will begin to see signs of this in the coming days and weeks, but based on the reception we have had from the Federal government, you're not likely to hear about it or will be covered up. One of my colleagues theorized they'll blame it on a flu outbreak.

I could however see it causing mutations to certain strains of viruses being possible.

Over the past three months, something has been releasing hydrogen sulfide gas in the central part of the U.S. to such a degree that it will begin to kill off most of life on Earth by the middle of May if it doesn't stop.

Since this data has been detected, we have been visited by numerous government agencies and basically we've been told to 'shut up'.

I may very well be the OP's co-worker. What he's saying is true. The good news, however, is that over the past few days, the hydrogen sulfide gas levels have decreased substantially.

We're all baffled, and don't know if it's temporary, or if we're in the clear. Regardless, the OP is a bit reckless in giving a time frame for rapid loss of life. We're still investigating this, and, honestly, no one is sure exactly what will happen. Perhaps something major, perhaps nothing. The G-men have told us they don't want to cause panic and alarm among the masses, especially if this "blows over," literally and figuratively, so we're keeping quite for now.

Could the leak be related to the gas and oil wells in Oklahoma and Texas? I know it's happened before that leaks can occur during oil extraction.

Our estimates put U.S. deaths due to the gas in March at 250,000.

April at 5 million.

May at 10.5 million.

June at 225 million.

Late June at 5 billion worldwide.

The gas will permeate everything.

Only high elevations have any hope of survival if current release does not subside.

Not everyone! Some people excrete the smell and can also smell it some are excreters but can't smell it and some poor folks don't excrete thr smell but can smell it.

So much fracking waste water deep injection into lower strata could be the obvious problem here. Pockets of this gas or any gas could be released this way along with the actual shattering of the rock formations deep in the Earths crust.

I also looked into the symptoms as well since my husband and I have been having issues here in the Wichita area. I found a lot of the symptoms were lining up as well.
