I've always liked Trey Gowdy because he tells it like it is, but looking at him now he looks like a homosexual.

No what he "hinted" at was that the dept of justice was rotten and corrupt to the core. Comey wasn't about to hand anything over to them. If he did, they would have not prosecuted her. It would've ended right there. And that wasn't really even a hint. Pretty damn obvious.

The larger issue would seem to be that 8 years of obama left us with a deeply corrupted Justice Department which, in July of 2016, would not have upheld and enforced the law. Gowdy is saying that Comey made the right call not to give Justice the opportunity to bury the Clinton investigation. Cool...

I just watched it live on Fox News he said that there's classified information that he and comey knew about that the public doesn't know. And that history will tell that Comey did the right thing. Then he stated, "I'm just gonna leave it right there" and swayed away. He also answered why he turned down the FBI director position.

If you read in between the lines he specifically said that the classified Intel will eventually come out. What will it be?? He also mentioned the meeting with Lynch and Clinton within the context.

Think you need to re-watch the clip.

But he did hint the reason was because of a bigger investigation.

It averted the potential of double jeopardy letting her off the hook. History will be kind to James Comey because when the truth finally does come out, people will look back at that moment and realize that with the lack of evidence they had as of that date.......she would've walked. Comey and Gowdy are both weasels--each like to talk tough and present themselves as standup guys but both fold like cheap suits to save their own hide.

If Comey was in a bind on the Clinton investigation (and he was) he should have presented the case to indict to Justice and when Loretta Lynch did not indict Comey should have resigned, walked to a microphone and told the American public the FBI had been crippled while investigating Clinton with no Grand Jury, no subponea power etc etc but Comey thought he was so bright he could publicly disparage Clinton and not recommend indictment thereby telling the public Clinton was dirty while still saving his job as Director FBI. Keep in mind Comey probably already worth millions and no matter what would always be a top legal dog and earn millions in the future. Comey's need for the power and prestige being FBI Director was so huge he screwed everything up. In the end Comey was willing to let Clinton off the hook to save his prestigious job. Not as some working man or woman needs to save their job to feed their children but Comey wanted to save his job to support his ego.

And Gowdy--yes he talks tough but does zero. What was the outcome of the Bengazhi investigation Gowdy ran. Nothing. Hillary was guilty as sin but walked away clean.l
