The bible says the earth is at the center of the universe (obviously wrong) but at least you have yo give this radical muslim credit for stcking to his guns, christians just kind of pick and choose. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73085799 United States 05/20/2017 11:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Recreate a rotating ball ...surrounded by AIR (aka atmosphere) that magically STICKS to the ball. Would have to be nearly full scale to have the gravity to work. But thanks for proving your ignorance. And exactly WHERE is the edge of your magical atmosphere? At what point does that air become the vacuum of space? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72366738 There is no defined edge. The air gets thinner and thinner the higher you go. Only in your limited mind. Vaccumes do not exist without being contained...and certainly not up against a border of air that is rotating along with a massive orb spinning 1000mph and flinging all while flinging around an orbit every 24 hours Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72366738 Is IMPOSSIBRU!! Again, no defined border. And the "1000 mph" only provides a centrifugal force of less than 1/2 of one percent of gravity. Scale is relative and based on perspective. Please do explain at what magic size does a beach ball begin to produce gravity? Show us all YOUR ignorance please.... ALL mass has gravity. But as it is proportional to mass a small ball will have very little. Yet another flattie fail. |

It would be an impossible feat to fly against the rotation of the moving atmosphere. Please show me the plane that measures its speed relative to the stars. That is the only time what you say would make sense. In the real world they measure speed relative to the ground and they don't magically lose the momentum they had on the ground just by taking off. Another flattie fail. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74543095 Yes, the Earth and atmosphere move together. Do a science project . Build a ball with something on the surface and spin it at a high rate of speed for it size inside a pressurized containment unit. fill the containment unit with smoke and see if the atmosphere 'smoke' all works as a unit. Release the projectile from the surface with a switch and see if it stays on the surface. Last Edited by messagehalted on 05/21/2017 12:12 AM All my post are theatrical artistic writing . |

Gravity on that scale will be miniscule and your "high rate of speed" to scale will be far slower than you think. |
