Why are Women so Attracted to Dark Triad Features?

First off, if you're unaware of what the dark triad is, observe the triangle graph below at link:

Essentially, The dark triad is a subject in psychology that focuses on three personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. Use of the term "dark" implies that people possessing these traits have malevolent qualities.

Now on to the important part of this thread... The Features!

Below is a great example of a man with dark triad features, and he fits the part, considering what he was famous for:

Now it doesn't just stop at convicts and murderers. The majority of male celebrities, athletes and models posses dark triad features.

A great example is heartthrob Ian Sommerhalder (pictured at link below)

Just look at the positive canthal tilt, position of the eyebrows and deep-set hunter eyes. It's what females are attracted to, yet there's a lack of a high-trust factor.


Now on the opposite end, look at famous actor Michael Cera

Look at his negative canthal tilt and non-dark triad features. He basically has a super high-trust face, yet women don't seem to be attracted to him, especially sexually. Now Michael Cera's canthal tilt isn't as bad as others may have it, but his eyes are too buggy, which goes against the dark triad.
