Yes, ALL airplanes can leave trails if the conditions are right, and they often are, but they are a well understood byproduct of aviation.

To ignore the billions of sources of pollution to focus on contrails is stupid. Yes, jet engines pollute...ALL Of them do...all engines do! But, if it's cold enough and saturated enough, a man made cloud MUST appear. It's VERY basic science and it's appalling that so many refuse to learn about it.
