Not even close in my mind - Nirvana was better. I was a teenager at the time. Nirvana's Live in New York is still one of the best concerts/albums ever made imo. I listen to it to this day.

Wasn't his moms house it was his house. Also he was supposed to be in rehab that's why no one thought he would be home.

couple of storys reported in 92 and 93 that arent even part of the cobain history anymore.

1. After the 93 music awards gun shots were reported fired at his motel room , and the story was recanted.

2. A station wagon hit him at the airport and he was rushed to the er in icu but made a full recover after about 3 days.
