The Twin Flame Reunion

Awesome stories! Would like to hear from more people who feel they are with their twin soul. Do you feel complete harmony with each other, and does it last if you remain together? A sense of fullfillment maybe?

I am interested in hearing sharing and comparing stories with you as it sounds like you have had many of the same experiences my twin and I have had. I have researched Twin Flames extensively over the last 6 months as that is when we awakened to the fact that we are twin flames. Our story is a little different in the fact that we were very close friends for 4 years but without romantic involvement. Once we connected the universe opened up its understanding to us. I come from a very grounded earth based prospective and my twin comes a strong understanding of spirit. I have had a strong influence and alignment with Buddhism and my twin has had a prophetic connection through her Christian ties. With our integration we have discovered many many things few of which we have seen posted on any website. With our union we have had a ridiculous amount of crisis around us but not between us. Now I'm not a big spiritual conspiracy theorist, but it seems like there are forces in the world that are trying to knock us off track .. to no avail. Also we have so far concretely discovered 5 distinct past lives. We as well do not share with many people that we are twin flames as it is way out of most peoples scope of understanding. We do however want to connect with a grounded couple to share experiences and compare notes. The stories can go on and on but lets wrap it up. Hey i was wondering if somebody can help me i am uncertain about wether i have met my twin flame......I met who i'd liek to believe is my twin flame over a year ago....the thing is we haven't met yet in person....but a lot of the symptoms that are typical of twin flames we have both experienced...some of the symptoms i'ved experienced and her are

I know that soulmates can experience these same symptoms and more but i know its not the case the feelings associated with these symptoms are on some other level ish....Also i feel the nature of our relationship plays a role...Early on in our relationship i abused her Unintentionally but nonetheless i did due to issues i was dealing with....but i ended up coming around and tried to work things out..and for over a year we had an up and down reltionship and in the process continued to grow mentally emoitionally and then spirtually....initally i was ahead of her in all three aspects but she would eventually come around and started to focus on her spirtuality as well...we have both come to the conclusion that God placed us in this situation to help us overcome the issues we were dealing with and to help us serve him better....but unfortunately our relationship ended because she realized n then i realized we were building this relationship on a bad foundation...but i don't feel it is over yet because i know that twin flames do not meet untill they are ready to meet n that includes getting rid of all emoitional baggage. I feel that in the ending of our relationship that God is getting us ready to meet (me and this girl have applied to the same school). I feel God ended it in order to allow her to get rid of all her emoitional baggage....but my question is am i right in my assumption?

i happened to bump into this site. i was looking to see what obstacles twin flames go through. i feel as though ive meet my twin flame. the problem is for one im married but i am willing to give it up because it feels as though my marriage is played itself out. it feels as though it was leading up to this as though fate is planning it out. the second thing which is the major issue is that he has plans he had made and has set into motion. before we got together and he doesnt want to break them to come and be with me. when he could come here and get the same result. which i mean im fine if he doesnt but it just is painful not being able to be with him. and i guess my point im trying to get to is have any of u guys ever had this kind of problem with there twin flame?? im just trying to see how common something like this is. cause in my head i feel like im willing to drop anything and everything for him and so its kinda hard for me to understand. ive asked him why he says he just wants to finish his plans. like i said i was just curious if others of u have had similar experiences with ur twin flame. thank u for ur time

It's very hard to write about something so private...
but what people have written is true...I feel more love and respect for him than anyone else I've ever known...

It's pretty insane to try to describe this rationally...
and I feel that he is the only one that has ever really seen me for who I am.

So from this perspective, it's the blessing of a lifetime. You will never find anything else this deep and this honest.

But don't accrue bad karma for this. End your marriage and then be with him/her. You're already with them in spirit, no matter the distance.

I've met both my twin flame and my soul mate, both of them belong to my 'soul circle', the group of souls I'm connected to. Through a dream I've identified them and I think I've met all of them except one. My soul mate I met when I was 11 and was instantly attracted to her. I didn't see her again until I was 18 but I knew through signs of the Universe that I was going to see her again that year. I did but for various personal reasons I ignored her, I regret that now but I know I'll see her again.

As for my twin flame I met her 3 years ago online. We chatted and our minds seemed so compatible. We understood each other spiritually and intellectually and had so many similarities. I have never met her physically though. She started seeing another guy and I severed all contact, I deleted her off facebook and the like. She reinvited me on a chat service but only for a while before she deleted me again. I can't find her on facebook anymore so I can't re-establish contact. With any luck we'll meet again the same way my soul mate was brought in contact with me. I'm a lot more experienced in life now so I'll probably maintain interaction with both of them. Not for romantic love but universal love. I want to share my knowledge with them and teach them and hopefully they'll teach me.

It can be deeply wounding when someone who you know is your twin soul is not at the same point as you are as far as spiritual acknowledgement of the twin union. Some twins, most really, still have much to learn and experience before they can come together. That is the point of the whole earthly experience (if you can get your head around that without letting your heart feel the pain of it), as we are human and do react to some situations with human emotion.

On a good note, twin souls cannot lose one another no matter how many times one feels to delete them, and they do meet on the astral when human contact proves impossible. It will feel very much like vivid dream.

Many twin souls meet online and have not yet met in person...and there is a knowing beyond doubt that they are your twin. You know it with all of your being; your soul.

You are one of the lucky ones-experiencing this twin soul love, with or without her physically. She can never be lost...

The Twin Soul Connection

As a working clairvoyant I am endlessly confronted with the entire scale of human misery and joy.

One issue I've come across time and time again is the soul mate connection. One can probably discern three different types of Soul mate connections, and all of them are karmic.

1. The regular soul mate connection in which we find we connect quite happily and comfortably with someone, with very little effort. We feel we’ve known them all our life.

2. Next is the real karmic soul mate connection – This can be very hard work. You may have an intense like or dislike for that person, but they come into your life to teach you something. A lesson has to be learned and a debt repaid (not literally money!). This can be extremely painful, but is necessary for our spiritual growth. Once the lesson is learned, the relationship has done its job.

3. Finally there is the connection that time never dims. The Twin Soul or Twin Flame connection.

Here there is an instant attraction of energies, the energy of the two souls connecting over time, over miles, and sometimes over years. Very often there is an initial meeting of the twin souls and often one half of the duo is more spiritually awakened and “gets it”. The other may not be quite there, but nevertheless they are deeply touched by the experience.

Sometimes they remain in contact like this, and sometimes the two are “deliberately” torn apart and separated over years to go and work on their own lives and commitments and deal with karma in other relationships before finally reuniting decades down the line.

But are the twin souls destined to be together?

Synchronicity is at work here to bring the two back together again. How entrancing to find the same magical alchemy still at work, just as it was at the first meeting – a recognition of a deep rooted love so entrenched and so accepted, it could only have been forged in other lifetimes together. And probably that is what love at first sight is, recognition of an ancient love.

Inevitably in twin soul connections we come up against the “dance” the connection and the disconnection between the two that is incredibly frustrating, and cannot be rushed. We are dealing with a process here. Within the connection you often find that one party is very keen to move the relationship on to higher levels, whilst the other doesn’t know what the hell is going on and doesn't want to deal with the relationship, as it touches deep and painful emotions that may have been suppressed. So they try and escape the relationship. The latter of the pairing is often referred to as a “runner”. The intensity of the connection means that each one feels the other's pain and confusion and there is much telepathic interchange. Both are pulled around by the compulsion of the energy, and are connected by what seems like an electrical cord.

Often one of the pair can’t take the heat in the kitchen and runs away and when this happens, the other twin experiences a bereavement, which never heals, until the next reconnection. The "runner" has perhaps experienced a lifetime of destructive love affairs. Unable to accept love when it is proffered (even though they may crave it). They may have trashed it, kicked it around like a football and found subtle ways to push it away because they have somehow felt unworthy, unloveable, claustrophobic or simply have never found the right person. In these circumstances and when used against the other twin, the experience is like a searing pain through the heart. In conventional relationships eventually the wound is healed, but in a twin soul connection, the situation just feels worse and worse.

Gripped in mutual "obsessive" behaviour the energy can be confusing especially when the "dance" is in full swing. It is quite common for the “runner” to profess language bordering on “I love you,” but maybe it comes out as something else, quite veiled, and then for that “runner” to retract and contradict what they have said. They feel foolish and vulnerable. When a “runner” runs, they run. But in time the “runner” finds themselves in a no-brain situation. They are faced with the choice of living in pain from the separation from the twin soul, or returning and facing that deep love, working through their fears (often unfounded) of possible rejection and reaching their own personal Eden.

For the other party who has been willing all along to go that extra mile, the spectrum of emotions experienced till then is infinite. Sometimes they just believe that the connection is entirely one-sided, or that they’ve imagined it all along and feel foolish and vulnerable.

During the whole process the parties have to remain strong. Twin soul connections never happen at convenient times. There is often the matter of existing and committed relationships, money issues, and a whole million other practical and logical reasons why these two, on the surface shouldn’t get together. There can be great differences in age, or religion or they may live continents apart. Quite often one may be in an emotionally unfeeling, yet long term relationship, whilst the other is in a controlling and abusive one. Both can feel trapped. But never forget, Madam Destiny in her infinite wisdom and effort has gone through the whole process and trouble of bringing these two together, and twin soul connections are quite rare - if you look back on this process you will inevitably come across situations where the two "nearly" met up again, or they were in the same place at the same time, and didn't meet, or they were working close to each other and didn't meet, nearly buying a house in the same town, and didn't meet, until Destiny has chosen the exact timing for that meeting and bingo, it is done.

There can be little doubt that meeting up with the twin soul pulls one or both onto a more spiritual path as they look back and marvel at how they were brought together.

To change one’s life like this takes enormous courage, but it also takes infinite patience. And if you are in such a pairing, you can experience a twin soul connection both as a gift and a curse!

The lessons of why we unite with our twin soul can be varied, but one reason is to teach each other about accepting love without fear, about healing the pain of love and loss and bringing the two halves of the soul back together again. If you are able to look at the birth charts of both, you will often see synastry involving Pluto, the planet of deep transformation, Saturn the planet of rigidity and control at work. Both are very karmic. In deep love affairs, also look to Chiron in the synastry to see how she is touching Venus in the other chart.

Learning to have patience and not forcing the relationship is part of the twin soul process. If you are trying to force your will onto the other person, chances are you’re not ready to really connect yourself. There should be no blame here - only deep and unconditional love.

I wish I knew about my own story. Age 47,I met a nature guide on a trip a couple years ago. I didn't think anything of the meeting the first hour or so, as I was totally distracted by the physical surroundings. But when he first spoke to me, something inside me winced, though I felt it briefly and then summarily dismissed it as nothing. Later, we spent more time talking, and he asked me an innocent question, at which point I felt like he look straight through to my soul. I could FEEL it inside somewhere. It shook me but I still ignored it. (it was that specific moment that I beat myself up over for the next year or two because I feel like at that specific moment I should have run, but I did not, and now my whole life has unraveled.) Anyway, then that night, I had some dream of such great intensity, I woke up the next morning in a state of nearly trance, though I couldn't remember the dream (until a week later, when I woke up one night and realized it was a dream of having met or known this person during some other lifetime.) All I knew was, the next morning, when I saw him at breakfast, he appeared totally different to me, as if I KNEW him.
Then this shaking thing began. Everytime I'd walk down the boardwalk to one of the common areas where I was likely to encounter him, I'd start this uncontrollable shaking. Long story short, we became extremely bonded in 4 days, culminating in a evening together in a room where we did not make love but the experience was so intense, and my supressing my desire to make love actually made me throw up.
Once I returned home, I had such a flurry of completely unexplainable experiences, telepathy and other things that would blow the average mind, I could go on and on, but I won't. But at one point I was laying on some cliffs in the woods I fell into one of those 'sort of asleep, but not completely' kind of semi-conscious. I had this dream, that this man (the tourist guide) was laying on top of me, but nothing sexual was occurring. We were just laying, looking at each others' eyes, and it felt totally merged or something. BUT THEN, I became aware that we were laying together in the palm/arm of GOD's 'hand'. At that time I became terrified, and so humbled I wanted to run. But then all at once the arm/palm pulled us together toward his/its 'chest or core' and we blended together as one with God. And I felt at peace. This dream occurred when I was still in a stage of having no idea what the hell had just happened to me, and long before I started researching any websites like this and learning about the concept of 'twin flames', etc. Well, I still don't know for sure, but during that time, my already lifeless marriage disintegrated, and I have continued a relationship with this person, thousands of miles away, whom I've gone to see twice. However, it is now fraught with many 'relationship' and distance and circumstance problems, mostly from me. (He just continues to pledge this eternal love, despite what I throw at the relationship). And in my heart, there is something that keeps me bonded to him so strongly that nothing seems to allow me to allow it to go, even when I try hard, even when the obstacles of having a longterm in person relationship seem difficult to impossible. But all these uncertainties make me think it is not a twin flame relationship. But the fact remains, I've never had anything like this happen in my life, and don't know a lot of people who have. During our last meeting, I was in utter amazement at the similarities in thought and how we approach life, it was really just blowing my mind, because I kept thinking when I was watching him or talking to him, I was watching or talking to myself. The other hint to me has been how deep our feeling and passion for nature preservation is (he a guide, me a professional ecologist)as we both talk a lot about coming together for some mission. I want to emphasize all these things have occurred before I ever knew about the concept of twin flames.
Does anyone have any thoughts about whether I'm crazy, or this could be a twin flame situation?

Your Twin is the ultimate in Soul Mate connections but life between you two will never be "perfect." Remember, Twins approach everything from opposite directions. There are bound to be clashes.

Not necessarily. Both can be incarnate at the same time but both may not be at the same level of spiritual evolution and often times their paths don't cross, or if they do they are drawn to each other but there are problems.

I have met my twin, we pretty much had all the "symptoms" listed, with the exception that we didn't have a sexual relationship and more often than not I wanted to beat his head in with a claw hammer. He is arrogant, egotistical, self-absorbed, pig-headed, and immature. But regardless of his MANY faults I do still love him and wish the best for him...as long as he stays the hell away from me and doesn't drag me into his drama!

My whole understanding of "Twin Flame" is that we are NOT incarnated at the same time - purposefully. Rather there is a spiritual walk/dance the two do while one is co-missioned here for work. We may find "soul-mates," which is a whole different concept! Am I way off?? If I am, I feel a deep soul disheartening, but must learn!

Met mine two years ago, after i got a "AHA" moment. It is very real. One soul, two bodies.

Living together and happily married. Got Major spiritual awakening since, and changed for the better (because of the mirror effect). You finally experience the so called unconditionnal love, first for your twin and later for all the creation.

But the level of empathy that you feel for each other (and which grow ovetime) is really something difficult to handle sometimes, and getting separated physically can be really bad for your health (heart stroke).

Symptoms are:
Mood amplified. Totally Identical like/dislike (even taste for foods), same good/bad habbits, same handwritting, same palm size, hugging each other is like feeling at home, mirror life experience, but totally opposed character.

The best description would be that we are both end of one stick.

Althougth everyday is not perfect, we really learn a lot from each other.

I think there is a lof of twin flames/twin souls at this moment on earth. The reason is because earth need some "light pillar" to make the transition in january 2013.

The Egg

You were on your way home when you died.

It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.

And that’s when you met me.

“What… what happened?” You asked. “Where am I?”

“You died,” I said, matter-of-factly. No point in mincing words.

“There was a… a truck and it was skidding…”

“Yup,” I said.

“I… I died?”

“Yup. But don’t feel bad about it. Everyone dies,” I said.

You looked around. There was nothingness. Just you and me. “What is this place?” You asked. “Is this the afterlife?”

“More or less,” I said.

“Are you god?” You asked.

“Yup,” I replied. “I’m God.”

“My kids… my wife,” you said.

“What about them?”

“Will they be all right?”

“That’s what I like to see,” I said. “You just died and your main concern is for your family. That’s good stuff right there.”

You looked at me with fascination. To you, I didn’t look like God. I just looked like some man. Or possibly a woman. Some vague authority figure, maybe. More of a grammar school teacher than the almighty.

“Don’t worry,” I said. “They’ll be fine. Your kids will remember you as perfect in every way. They didn’t have time to grow contempt for you. Your wife will cry on the outside, but will be secretly relieved. To be fair, your marriage was falling apart. If it’s any consolation, she’ll feel very guilty for feeling relieved.”

“Oh,” you said. “So what happens now? Do I go to heaven or hell or something?”

“Neither,” I said. “You’ll be reincarnated.”

“Ah,” you said. “So the Hindus were right,”

“All religions are right in their own way,” I said. “Walk with me.”

You followed along as we strode through the void. “Where are we going?”

“Nowhere in particular,” I said. “It’s just nice to walk while we talk.”

“So what’s the point, then?” You asked. “When I get reborn, I’ll just be a blank slate, right? A baby. So all my experiences and everything I did in this life won’t matter.”

“Not so!” I said. “You have within you all the knowledge and experiences of all your past lives. You just don’t remember them right now.”

I stopped walking and took you by the shoulders. “Your soul is more magnificent, beautiful, and gigantic than you can possibly imagine. A human mind can only contain a tiny fraction of what you are. It’s like sticking your finger in a glass of water to see if it’s hot or cold. You put a tiny part of yourself into the vessel, and when you bring it back out, you’ve gained all the experiences it had.

“You’ve been in a human for the last 48 years, so you haven’t stretched out yet and felt the rest of your immense consciousness. If we hung out here for long enough, you’d start remembering everything. But there’s no point to doing that between each life.”

“How many times have I been reincarnated, then?”

“Oh lots. Lots and lots. An in to lots of different lives.” I said. “This time around, you’ll be a Chinese peasant girl in 540 AD.”

“Wait, what?” You stammered. “You’re sending me back in time?”

“Well, I guess technically. Time, as you know it, only exists in your universe. Things are different where I come from.”

“Where you come from?” You said.

“Oh sure,” I explained “I come from somewhere. Somewhere else. And there are others like me. I know you’ll want to know what it’s like there, but honestly you wouldn’t understand.”

“Oh,” you said, a little let down. “But wait. If I get reincarnated to other places in time, I could have interacted with myself at some point.”

“Sure. Happens all the time. And with both lives only aware of their own lifespan you don’t even know it’s happening.”

“So what’s the point of it all?”

“Seriously?” I asked. “Seriously? You’re asking me for the meaning of life? Isn’t that a little stereotypical?”

“Well it’s a reasonable question,” you persisted.

I looked you in the eye. “The meaning of life, the reason I made this whole universe, is for you to mature.”

“You mean mankind? You want us to mature?”

“No, just you. I made this whole universe for you. With each new life you grow and mature and become a larger and greater intellect.”

“Just me? What about everyone else?”

“There is no one else,” I said. “In this universe, there’s just you and me.”

You stared blankly at me. “But all the people on earth…”

“All you. Different incarnations of you.”

“Wait. I’m everyone!?”

“Now you’re getting it,” I said, with a congratulatory slap on the back.

“I’m every human being who ever lived?”

“Or who will ever live, yes.”

“I’m Abraham Lincoln?”

“And you’re John Wilkes Booth, too,” I added.

“I’m Hitler?” You said, appalled.

“And you’re the millions he killed.”

“I’m Jesus?”

“And you’re everyone who followed him.”

You fell silent.

“Every time you victimized someone,” I said, “you were victimizing yourself. Every act of kindness you’ve done, you’ve done to yourself. Every happy and sad moment ever experienced by any human was, or will be, experienced by you.”

You thought for a long time.

“Why?” You asked me. “Why do all this?”

“Because someday, you will become like me. Because that’s what you are. You’re one of my kind. You’re my child.”

“Whoa,” you said, incredulous. “You mean I’m a god?”

“No. Not yet. You’re a fetus. You’re still growing. Once you’ve lived every human life throughout all time, you will have grown enough to be born.”

“So the whole universe,” you said, “it’s just…”

“An egg.” I answered. “Now it’s time for you to move on to your next life.”

And I sent you on your way.

I have found my twin flame and we have had the greatest experiences from a long distance stand point. and because I didn't make the choice to meet her in person because of financial reasons and other stuff that held me back such as my baggage. I am not sure if our union is now possible... I have been going through a lot of stuff upgrades, awakenings ect... but now all feels lost in the sense of the events that have occurred to create this separation. The only possible thing that can save our union is divine intervention. I made a few mistakes that cause my vibration to go down and by doing that it created a rift in vibration so shes some where else while I am dealing with my stuff. Being in such a state of bliss and now being in such a state of despair in discomfort. We have such great work to do together, but now I think I might have totally blown it. It feels like a heavy weight has been placed on my being squeezing the life out of me...

I wish this on no one...

So take action if you come across your twin flame the moment you meet them, go in person and create what must be created...

That's the best advice I could give any body here on this forum...

I pray and hope by the grace of Divinity we find our way back to each other very soon... and I hop on a plane and see her...

I feel that my first love whom i had met at 16 is my twin flame. Reconnecting after 26 years made me realize this because it felt like no time had passed. The intensity of the connection is nothing like i've known in all my life. What is keeping us apart is that we both have our own families, and we would not sacrifice the needs of our children for our own needs. If our love can survive being apart until we are done raising our children which is another decade then I feel that it will be the right time for us to be together.

Being with my twin flame physically is out of this world. We both remembered what it was like when we were 17 and became lovers and how even more incredible it is now. Any physical contact is like nothing we had experienced with anyone else. It was like an undescribable need to be one physically, and there are no words to describe the intensity of our lovemaking.

My "twin flame" was born 6 days before me. Does anyone else feel that they are fortunate enough to have incarnated into this world with their twin flame and that this may be your last go round in this world? I hope that this is the case for me.

This is a question for Afterlife since you seem to have researched this type of thing a little bit. I guess I'm fustrated because I am trying to find out if i can get rid of my twin flame. Not to sound bad but neither one of us can be together because we both didn't meet until after we were already married to other people. Life has seemed to play a role in separating us which I know was probably for the best but after meeting him my whole life began falling apart. From my career to everything. I have a feeling that he is very jealous of my husband and does not want us to succeed. Even though he found a woman that he chose to marry I feel like in my spirit that he feels that if he can't have me then he wants to see me and my husband fail in life and I can't take it anymore. My husband has been looking for work and so have I but i'm wondering if this may have something to do with the hinderance. My husband sent him a facebook request and gave him a good compliment and showed kindness toward him but he just ignored the gesture and never responded to it. I don't want to be connected spiritually or soulishly with anyone who is unkind inside. I have cried over this because I want to let go of the thought of him and move on with my life but every time i disconnect and move on my life gets hard and it seems like he has moved on and things are going great for him. I feel like he is trying to push me and my spouse down so he and his spouse can succeed. I don't want to be trapped in an eternal soul tie with this person so I was wondering if there is a way that I can totally and completely get this person out of my mind and soul for good. I don't want to be connected with them in the afterlife. Any thoughts or advice are appreciated.

I don't wanna keep my twin flame. I hope there is no such thing because I don't want to be stuck in eternity with this jealous person. I don't want to see any harm come them cause deep down I do love them but i just don't want nothing more to do with them and I want they're name and face erased from my memory. Help me Lord.

I have enjoyed reading this thread. Over the past seven years or so I have thought much about the concept of the twin flame. I knew nothing of it before I met a woman of my own age who triggered a very simple intuitive understanding of the obviousness of it. Before meeting her I was struggling to find direction in life, and I found that I was for the first time looking into my own mind and heart.

It was unusual how we ended up meeting, it seemed like karma, or synchronicity, was gradually lining up to put us together. She's was very lovely in appearance, her heart seemed so open and untouched by fear. I feel ashamed to say I wasn't ready. I felt unworthy of her, unlovable even. I lost touch with her, and actually became quite ill emotionally. Failing to be what she needed was almost too much to bear.

I've tried very hard to learn about myself, to live a life that is honest and spiritually inclined. I've tried to become healthy enough to attract her. It is unusual how I have thought of her every day since then. She might be married now, I'm not sure. She might have kids? I don't know. But just meeting her and seeing her smile was enough to kick start a process of great change in my life. Knowing that she is real and that she lives in my world was enough to prove the worthiness of being a good person and helping other people. I hope she is happy, whatever she is doing.

I know I've made many mistakes in life, but still my quiet prayer is that we might one day be joyfully together as one. She is what i think of when I extrapolate God's generosity to it's sublime limit. God's grace is my only hope...what could I ever really do to earn that kind of love, that kind of woman?
