I found a audio thing once to do with it which if you like i will dig out for you laters on. But i think what your going to have to do is bite the bullet so to say and fork out the $44 for the book. I know barnes and nobles have it mostly in stock, have to drag myself away everytime i go near it. |

Go to the official Kolbrin site, and also james McCanney's site for more reliable info. I wish there were any discussion groups for people who have actually read the book instead of judging it by what marshall masters and the yowusa gang have written all over the net. Funnily enough the culdians, the original holders of the copyright of the kolbrin, have made no marketing efforts almost for the book in sharp contrast with yowusa and their 2012 campaign( the kolbrin never mentions anything about 2012). In fact most garbage written in the net about the kolbrin comes clearly from people who have not read the book at all, where are the ones who have? Id be interested in joining a discussion group and talking about the fables in the book of creation, or the tales of the afterlife in the book of scrolls, or the teachings of elidor and lucius, the book of morals and precepts, there´s so much in there. |

But that is exactly what is disturbing - they are only good hearted to their own pockets. Survival guide, my foot. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 813600The ENTIRE Bible is free to everyone who has access to the internet. There are also THOUSANDS of people risking their lives to take FREE Bibles to countries where they are outlawed, like China and Lebanon to name a few. There are groups devoted to giving away free Bibles. The Gideons are one of these groups. We give away Bibles to people who come into our church all the time. I have personally bought Bibles for a couple kids in my church as well. If you want a free Bible, get one, then make your own translation and sell it. The reason the Bible costs money is because people have put a lot of work translating it. Having the Bible cost money also adds to its importance. If it were free to the world, it would not mean as much. People like to be rewarded for their work, and work means money. If you want a free Bible, I'll give you one. Also, why do you say "so called Bible"? It IS THE BIBLE. It's the name of the book. You wouldn't say "the so called qur'an" would you? No because that's what the book is called. Our world has taken the name "bible" and have equated it to meaning "Truth". Yes, I believe that everything in the Bible is absolutely true, but the word "BIBLE" doesn't mean "Truth". It's the name of the book, that just so happens to hold the truth. Christians (the ones that represent Christ appropriately) give of themselves all the time. There are people who literally give thousands of dollars of their own, hard-earned money, to those less fortunate in our country and in countless countries all over the world. Christian's organize soup kitchens for the hungry and homeless, they donate time, clothing, and all kinds of other stuff to help out those who need it. They go on mission trips to other countries to help build needed places like schools, hospitals, houses, and so much more. There are Christian organizations like The Salvation Army, that serve God faithfully in over 119 countries, helping the needy. They are on the front lines when national, environmental, and man-made disasters happen. What I am so sick of is the so-called "christians". I hate when there are groups of people claiming to be christians who don't represent God and the truth of His word, the Bible. There is a group of these people who live in Topeka, KS, that protest military funerals, who say that "God hates fags". They preach hate to a world that needs love. There is not one person on this planet who doesn't need love, and that's what God is. He loves us, and calls each and everyone of us to love as well. Sorry for the rant, I just felt that I need to share this. |

I have read it and I am very interested as to why their is no official church or following, and very few discussion pages even about it, but I think perhaps this might be a good thing, if the book was made open to the public online all the stupid critics would read one or two passages out of it and then use it to criticize the work, instead they are forced to buy a copy, people with good intentions for the book are more likely to pay for it and if the critics did spend 44 bucks on a book they might feel more obligated to read it which might end up knocking some sense into their noggins unless the critic truly is a servant of the devil. |

Not for her the bed of sand, the dance-ending gift, this is a true lady of the elfingers. Of woman in the land, none is above her; none exceeds her in beauty or virtue, if these you value. As man speaks with man, chief with chief, match gift with gift, let this land be ours. Give me a tall, corn-haired maiden, full-bosomed, fair-skinned, sun-faced, to enliven gloomy lives." Spake one-tongued killen, "Not for me the words of hidden meaning. No maid of light shall be given to man of darkness, though dwarfmaidens are not denied to man of mine.If night mingle with the day, the light is lessened, so the day spurns the night. The night is not guardian of the light, so what cares it? Does darkness put out the firelight or fire dispel darkness? Can they mix? No milk-skinned maid shall go at my behest." This I declare, for even I cannot forbid the trothpledge of one who loves. If there be a milkskinned maid who would freely choose to go, then let it be. She may bide as a bride of yours, but surely it is known no milk-skinned maid would sever herself from our race, for return with a dark brood is forbidden. No dark brood do we accept; our men with your maids go, but what come of it is not one of us, no acceptable issue of ours. We father no dark brood, nor twilight offspring. What do we choose to father our herds, the best or the worst among bulls? Are not men many times greater than cattle? No milkskinned maid came freely forth; the dark dwarfmen chief was left unwed. In stockaded homes, the tall upright ones slept secure, no maid crept forth to mingle with the murky ones of the night. Many the moon-bathed dances, oft the wild prancing, but less and less the dark broods numbers, further back into the forest and cave went the dusky-skinned ones. Oft in the night darkness, fair maids were snatched by brown-cowled dwarfmen, to breed twilight broodlings in secret places. Woeful were the enforced couplings and woeful the issue. Not for milksinned maids, the free sinful coupling of the foredoomed dawnrace! In five generations, the nethermen were gone, only in the dark depths of cave and forest could they be found. No longer were the milkskinned maidens molested at night. The night offerings were put out; the dwarfmen came and supped; honey, bread, milk and sowflesh were taken in gratitude. The race of the nethermen passed into the shadows of time, only twilight offspring roaming the land, tawny-faced, blue-legged, weirdly-painted, brown-cowled, rope-belted, builders with stone. None could recite his lineage, for no man knew his father. Brown and green clothed, bebangled, stone-hauling idunings toiling for their black-bearded masters for unknown ends. |
