Quoting: Anonymous Coward 409071Why not? Yes, why not? I have a few silver fillings left, all others are amalgam. Thanks for the informative reply. Elaborate on the grass-fed butter - I pretty much avoid butter because I feel it coming out my pores - how much are you eating? |

AC User ID: 409083 Norway 04/05/2008 09:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In answer to questions on list. I have read that oil pulling can cause fillings to loosen and fall out. I do not know why. Dr. Weston Price was a dentist who did a large scale study at an orphanage, and found that the X factor (vitamin K-2?) prevents cavities. Butter from grass fed cows is a rich source of this X factor. [link to www.mothering.com] |

mercury2 User ID: 279534 United States 04/05/2008 10:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here's the Earth Clinic page for Gum Disease: [link to earthclinic.com] Lots of good suggestions there. You are already doing the Oil Pulling which is the best suggestion I have. It seems to make a huge difference for me in how plaque and tartar build up and in the state of my gums. Maybe step it up. Also read the Earth Clinic page for Oil Pulling, it might be linked to on the Gum Disease page above or else do a search on it. I never heard it was a problem to do the OP when you have amalgam fillings. I'm sure it's better to do it than to not do it. |
AC User ID: 409166 Norway 04/05/2008 10:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It seems as though some people are concerned about leaching mercury out of the fillings. Others consider the risk to be minimal, and do pull. Incidentally, supplementing with the mineral selenium has many health benefits (heart disease and cancer), including providing some protection against mercury. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 409070Where do you get these? What are some brands? The brand I use is called Liqumins, and it's the low sodium ionic trace minerals. You can order it on-line at any vitamin supplier, and most good health food stores have it. Don't even bother looking in GNC, it ain't there. Really cheap too, I get it online for about $14 and 8 oz. of it lasts for months because you only need a few drops per glass of water. |

IT REALLY WORKS! |

It sprays a high power of water into areas under the gum. I use it and you can tell the difference. You can smell all the bad stuff coming out while your cleaning your teeth with it. Kinda gross but great and really shows you what your toothbrush isnt getting into cleaning. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 409079Do you mean put the baking soda and peroxide in your Water Pik, or brush with it them use the Water Pik with plain water? I'm thinking the baking soda might clog the WP. |

The last time I went to the dentist, she strapped on a BP monitor on my wrist. Why the hell does a dentist need to know my blood pressure! I just want my teeth cleaned?! I oil pull every day, but still have occasional plaque. Will brushing with baking soda and peroxide get rid of it? |

Mercury doesn't kill people instantly, it degenerates health over time, the point is you die sooner then you should and your health is not as good as it could be. Same with eating processed foods, foods with MSG and other excitotoxins and Sugar. |

If true, this is certainly groundbreaking. She starts talking about it at about 49 min: Here's a link to her website if interested: [link to www.yummymummyemporium.org (secure)] |
