Is the New World Translation of the bible Accurate? Why was it desired, isn't the KJV holier sounding?

'a god' implies that there are many gods ... and there aren't.

The better question to ask yourself is why are you worried about different translations of a book you wholeheartedly deny? Why would you place your trust regarding your eternity in a 150 year-old manmade religion that openly denies the only one who can save your soul?

Differences between the New World Translation and other translations

Missing books. In their Bibles, the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches include books known by some as the Apocrypha. However, those books were not accepted into the Je..sh canon, and it is noteworthy that the Bible says that the J..s were the ones who were “entrusted with the sacred pronouncements of God.” (Romans 3:1, 2) Thus, the New World Translation and many other modern Bible translations rightly exclude the books of the Apocrypha.

The Watchtower Society is quite familiar with Pastor Johannes Greber and his translation of The New Testament. They have quoted him at least nine times in their publications dating from 1956 to 1983.

It all began in 1956 in the Watchtower. Greber was revealed as a spiritist who translated the New Testament with help from God's spirits.

NWT uses the corrupt westcott and hort translation, which uses the vaticanus and alexandrian translations, so realistically the nwt has more in common with the catholic church. The kjv doesnt use the garbage vaticanus like the nwt

Ethiopian Bible is the most accurate, and then the old King James Bible. All bibles that came afterwards are counterfeits... they are 10% or more different for copyright purposes.
