It does not hurt to hold a little Gold and Silver.....Just in case the USA goes BK. We are headed in that direction. Better safe than broke.

Just a little can go a long way. If you already have plenty of food and gear, it doesn't hurt to snuggle up to some of the shiny stuff. A hundred or two ounces of silver may buy a nice house here soon.

I don't think people realize how little silver is actually in the form of bullion. Most of it is bound up in electronics, photo supplies, and compounds. The value of silver in its raw form is like Mt. St Helens in early 80'.

yes all commodities are going down because of deflation. Inflation to start in Feb. 2009 and slowly ramp up to super inflation June-Sept 2009. Full blown hyper-inflation after that.

If you are interested in having something to eat you may want to have some gold/silver. Next year food, medical services, and other required services will go up in price while electronics (TVs, iPods, etc...) will become really really cheap. Have a nice time eating that computer :(
