10500BC-2012 AD The ancients and MODERN Civilation. The Solstice, the Equinox, and the Constellations

I don't have the answers but this stuff grabs me in a BIG way. Research further to discover the connection between mythological numbers and the PI relationship of the Giza pyramids and the circumfrence of the earth. MAD!! Anyhoo here is a link. Anyone wants to post feel free, I welcome open intelligent discussion. If you disagree, say so and with the promise of researching further. My question is, if we are now the most advanced example of the human evolution, why did the ancients have knowledge of Sirius A, B, & C thousands of years before the 1950's $ 1990's which is when (I recall) the modern astronomers discovered B & C?
