What must an empath do to prtect themselves?

Details? Please explain.

You use the energy you use to make a shield around you, takes some concentration at first but after that it will come natural.

It sounds stupid but you gotta find your off switch.

An empath absorbs without fear of that which it absorbs

There is an old rhyme that goes like this.....


"i am rubber you are glue whatever you do to me bounces off of me and sticks to you."

In other words let them drink from the infinite well that is your soul and let them sicken themselves on its power that they cannot handle. Well either they will handle it or they will die. Either it will make them better people or they will just die. That is the truth. Empaths are powerful people in this world whether they consciously use that power. They are protected in my different ways.


Fear not for you have the infinite powers of the soul.

Not much. Learn to view most of life with your head, not your heart. If it/the person isn't close to you, it might work. It's a learned thing.

You have to have some vampire ability within yourself and turn it on them. IF you have a real stalker that is.

If it's just environmental noise, maybe you can train yourself to tune it out.

i use my inner vision to create a golden shield surrounding me, like an orb of gloden light that completely surrounds me..nothing can penetrate

Exactly ! I picture a wall switch, and a little window that the 'intruder' is using. I also have a radio volume switch that I picture.

Turn off the switch, turn down the volume, and shut the window pulling the curtain.

Almost forgot this one. If it's really bugging you, picture a big castle door. have your guard slam it, and bolt it, pull up the draw bridge and let loose the gators in the mote.

+1 The pure Golden shield every time my friend. Being and empath can be hard at times sheild , and use your discerning spirit. Energy vampires are no good they will suck all your good energy dry if you let them.

stop trying to read everyone, most people put on a front anyway. you will wear your self out needlessly. Always associate with upstanding people only.. it keeps you from getting into trouble, all of your life..we all sense things . so big deal.. empath is a new term anyway. kids even know subconciously to avoid bullies . stop making a big deal and obssessing about it from now on. . you have went over board anyway. get a new hobby to concentrate on.

I sense peoples bad moods or negetive thoughts, and I get really uptight and nervous. Or if someone ( a total stranger) is in a bad situation I feel overcome with sadness. I feel as if i can sometimes read the thoughts of others and it can get uncomfortable.

Yes hon you need to shield yourself and then you will be able to discern better and won't be as drained. It does take awhile like CHL said but must be done for your help or you will have energy blocks and worse trying to deal with.

Oh one more thing......The more you know that the more they take from you the better they will get and thus grow wise and leave you alone. OR they will not be so healthy the more they take from you. What they take from you will become like poison to them or a growth elixir. It is all up to them and the evil inside of them. Their own evil will be their undoing.


Empathy is an experience best shared. In that way both parties or all parties involved can grow equally. Just keep the thoughts kind. And when the thoughts arent kind keep the understanding at a high level to figure out the why of the issue.

My only suggestion is that energies are like food. Empaths just eat more than others. This can lead to energy constipation. You have to be sure to not let the energies reside within you for too long or they will infect your own vibrations. And yours are MUCH MORE important than theirs and must be protected at all costs.

You need a empathic ex-lax. A place to dispose of their emotions and relieve yourself. Feel them and then flush them back into the VOID.

Walk in Joy. They don't deserve to have ANY POWER over you Whatsoever. Shine your Halo, wink at them, and just smile.

Remember Vampires only feed on those that Bleed.
