It never let me down. Then I realized that I never went to the gym anymore or any other things I used to love. I plan on taking a 6 month break then using in moderation. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 429261 United States 07/06/2009 12:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Day 6. I'm fucking bored as shit. Gotta stay strong. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 437823It really was holding my life back. But god damn I miss the calm feeling. Don't give up, OP! You are on the right track! It took me three months to get that crap totally out of my system but when I was clear it was like a fog was lifted and I will never go back!! :floating: |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 437823Yah, I see reefer like a FIRE. A fire in the fireplace, is good. It gives warmth, spirit, light... A fire on your house, is bad. Reefer, when controlled can be a tool, like fire. Out of control, it can destroy your house. |

Soon you too will feel the same, love the smell of it still, no craving though. I have many more lucid dreams too. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 659714 United Kingdom 07/06/2009 11:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Giving up weed does have psychological withdrawal symptoms.. no doubt.. as I'm still 'craving' for it.. & find life just bloody crap & boring right now.. & I'm also acting out of character lately. I don't smoke tobbaco on it's own.. I never would.. only smoke it with weed. I have some tobbaco now.. but won't touch it.. unless I have weed to roll with. I am 'wondering..?' if I'm having 'withdrawal symptoms' from giving up the tobacco, both tobacco/weed, or just the weed?! I cannot afford it anymore, am trying to keep my health in check, am doing a lorry driving course now & trying to get things done.. get a job.. that sorta thing. I've given up smoking 'skunk' weed.. as it's being 'mixed' with dangerous crap which I will not smoke.. even tho' I love skunk weed. I can get 'clean' weed now if I want.. but have cut right down on it. Have been gradually cutting down.. so there are 'weeks' instead of days I go without it.. but I really miss it sometimes.. esp: weekends & nights. I find it calms me down too.. esp: if I have 'trauma' flashbacks to past stuff. I haven't completely given up..! will still smoke now & then when I can afford it or have time to relax. But, I don't want to drink & smoke while I'm learning lorry driving.. as that would be both dangerous & would risk getting caught out with a random urine/blood test. I'm convinced it's the skunk weed that makes people 'mad & paranoid' I dunno what that bastards are mixing in it.. but it's 'not too.. good..!' It would be nice if I could get hold of solid hash or oil which I cannot get anywhere at all.. there's simply NONE.. but that would be better than smoking it wouldn't it..?! Good luck OP.. hope u're successful.. it'll spur me on too.. |

Much like a salt lick? "The Truth is so valuable that it must be protected with a bodyguard of lies" Winston Churchill Punted from GLP for the last time by unresponsive mods. Have gone to greener pastures where there is more professionalism. |

Chances are 99.9% it's the tobacco withdrawal. Like the one poster said...paranoia....sound like fun? That's why I quit, although it took decades for me to get around to it! LOL Tobacco is more important to quit health wise, and 100 times harder to do. I don't miss weed, and I don't care if others smoke it. ;) |

At this point my thoughts are i see other people all around taking various pills and shit and all i do is smoke weed. I understand the idea that you are "missing out" on life but i dont see what im really missing out on. Perhaps some x-smokers can give me an idea of what im missing out on, keep in mind im a unattractive person so social BS is generally out. |

You smoke and you just sit there, thinking and thinking and thinking. That's missing out, that's why I agree with doing it once in awhile in moderation after a very hard working month or 4. I enjoy going to beach and relaxing with a nice blunt. Just sit back and enjoy the Sun and the scenery. I also go to my roof once in awhile and I'm always amazed at the fact that we are literally floating in a big planet through space. I'm also amazed at the fact that I'm surrounded by buildings, bridges, cars, etc - all made by us humans. Life is beautiful, isn't it? |
