Seriously. Just finished Transformers 2...WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?

I don't like Obama, but if he would just declare an executive order banning Michael Bay from making movies, I would vote for him in 2012.

Movie production creates jobs and spurs economic growth. It's far better than just giving away money.
"The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as His father, in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter." - Thomas Jefferson

"During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry, and persecution." - James Madison

"The divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for absurdity." - John Adams

"Religious controversies are always productive of more acrimony and irreconcilable hatreds than those which spring from any other cause. I had hoped that liberal and enlightened thought would have reconciled the Christians so that their religious fights would not endanger the peace of Society." - George Washington

"I have found Christian dogma unintelligible. Early in life, I absenteed myself from Christian assemblies." - Benjamin Franklin

Yes he needs to be banned. He is a no talent (insert word here) pain in the arse which keeps on using other people's original work and altering it... into something that could only he described as a cancerous abomination. Also ... Shredder is not white , and all of bay's stupid explosions will not cover the failure and embarassement he is to his parents and the world.

do you not mean thats what all of hollyweird relies on is tons of CGI and 'splosions?

The movie industry was dying in the 90s and as of now is dead.

Kinda sad ain't it

They got addicted

Yet he unwashed masses still think they are living in the golden age with all their cgi

Separates the audience from the film IMO

CGI hit its peak with Jurassic Park, why do you ask?

Because back then they were willing to put in hundreds of hours to impress you, now its quick, cheap and crappy.

The CGI in the early movies was remarkable and most of it has aged very well (terminator 2 is showing its age with the liquid metal man, but regardless Jurassic Park is perfect)

At least movies like the original TRON had charm due to their very odd looking CGI sequences but now a days its just copy/pasta effects for dummies...
