Anonymous Coward User ID: 846424 United Kingdom 03/01/2010 01:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | this is a joke!, look in american history. at one time it was illegal to NOT grow it! W. Viginia for one, even Washington grew it. no other plant in the world has so many potential uses as a source of energy and benefit to mankind. And no, i would'nt want a professional smoking on the job, anymore than I would want them drinking. how many times did one show up drunk anyway? Quoting: starcharteri can smoke and work, easily. weed makes me concentrate more, and i actually get more work done if im high. now drinking is a different story. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 713050 Ireland 03/01/2010 03:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No, it's more dangerous than booze Quoting: Anonymous Coward 851589Listen to some Bill Hicks and get some education! My fucking mother lost 6 children due to alcoholism, maybe if she'd have enjoyed a reefer instead she wouldve been too stoned to open her fucking legs! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 903725 United States 03/01/2010 03:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 6. Marijuana has been LEGAL in the US longer than it has been illegal. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 836696That was before we found out how dangerous and deadly it is. Now that we know, we need to protect ourselves from it or lives will be destroyed. What a tard. Alcohol is still around and it's way, way, way worse for you. No one has ever died from pot. From booze, all the time. It's illegal because of powerful interests who had big money riding on doing away with one of the most beneficial plants to mankind. You can use it to make clothing, you can use it for fuel, it's way stronger than wood when made into 2x4's, it has medicinal qualities. Here comes the key part, anyone can grow it. Can't have the commoner have access to something so good. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 819509Smart man. VERY smart. As long as you stay free and clear of it, you'll be able to see that marijuana only appeals to criminals and stupid people. Stupid people, like my brother in law, who has a PhD in Particle Physics and did a lot of the math for the Large Hadron Collider? He smoked weed all through University and continues to do it still, even as a professor at a major University. Actually, many of his buddies in University smoked weed on a regular basis as well, so there you go. pwnd |

pauldamo User ID: 906936 Australia 03/05/2010 03:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | yes, but we should be allowed to grow our own to save money.then we'd have more money for food,we could even barter with it.make our own cloth, ropes, food, oils, fuel, paper, drinks,i could go on, the government should just piss off from the pot scene, only possibly called if some one tries to steal your crop or stash.i think a lot of people would be much more relaxed by being out in their gardens, closer to nature, the paranoia would disappear, the one the cops created when they told the people and school kids to dog on their parents and anyone they thought were involved in pot. |

Work and pot are not mutually exclusive. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 430043Yup, I find that menial tasks like house cleaning and such are much more palatable when I'm a bit baked. |
