What you need is a clean hit of some top shelf medicinal herb from NorCal or SoCal grown with love by an experienced provider, not smoked in some nasty blunt, get a nice vaporizer. I can tell you that I have had 'religious' experiences on cannabis. I remember smoking some ganja and thinking everything was just beautiful and that the people around me were angels. My vision was fogged like a soap opera and everything was glittery and I just could not stop laughing at how great it was.

Also there is a difference between Indica and Sativa. Indica is more of a relaxed mental high while Sativa is a more energetic body high.
