WTF is going on with NASA? Kennedy Space Center operations are back to normal after evacuations this morning caused by a ruptured gas line. A backhoe operator working outside a cafeteria near the Vehicle Assembly Building accidently broke a gas line sometime after 8 a.m. The gas line was shut off and there were no injuries or damage to any buildings. Employees evacuated from the VAB and several surrounding office buildings were allowed to return to work by about 11 a.m., according to a KSC spokesperson. There was no interruption to work on shuttle Discovery at launch pad 39A. That was a psy-op, who knows for what reason. But, the fact she was not dishonorably discharged but, promoted speaks volumes. I don't see anything BS about breaking a gas line with a backhoe because some contractor or grounds worker didn't bother to make sure to get the lines marked first. Believe it or not, not everyone at Kennedy has a supervisor watching over their shoulder at all times. The other incident certainly piques my curiosity, but until someone can produce some evidence linking the two other than timing, I don't see a reason to believe they're actually connected, but I do see reasons to believe they're not. If there were a bomb threat they would have just said so, there'd be no reason to cover it up and risk a leak. They also wouldn't have just walked away from that house without making an arrest. |
