Anonymous Coward User ID: 1444397 United States 06/27/2011 01:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Having some late night Taco Bell, and noticing a distinctly heartier texture and more profound flavor of actual ground beef in the product. Quoting: Greg_B.Anyone know if they've quietly changed formulas after the bad press a few months ago? Now if they'd just pressure cook real beans again... Jst fattening you up for the slaughter, that's all. |

Greg_B. (OP) User ID: 1259308 United States 06/27/2011 10:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Taco Bell has never used 100% beef, why should they start now?? Quoting: Whiskey Brother 1418028Have their prices gone up any? (I would not know, having quit Taco Smell a long time ago...) Well, that's not true. In the 80's (I worked there) we used Ground Beef, USDA Grade A. We had to cook it and season it in giant square pans with a huge rake-like device. I'm not too fond of Signatures. Why would I want to end every post the same way? |

You know taco bells beef is the same shit they serve at McDonalds, and Burger King, right ? It's crap, it's probably about 5% meat, and the rest, god only knows. |

It's not the 80's anymore. I mean look at China, their turning human pooh into beef. They are all doing whatever they can to save a buck. It's not real meat anymore. Sad but true. |

It's not radioactive Japanese Poo Meat. Yes, we all understand that Taco Bell, and others, use filler in their meat. That said, the question is, has it gotten beefier very recently? I have noticed a difference and am wondering if anyone else has too. I'm not too fond of Signatures. Why would I want to end every post the same way? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1444217 United States 06/27/2011 11:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You should try home made Tacos. You can determine what goes in them and what doesn't. I make them myself. I can make several Monster Tacos for the price of a meal at TB, in about 30 minutes. On Sundays I bulk cook, so that I have a stash of Taquitos and Burritos for lunch. I only use fresh products. One of the guys in my neighborhood runs a Sausage Company, so I'm getting Brangus or Ground Chuck. I don't know who Chuck was but damn he's good. |

If they survive the Nuclear holocaust, we'll have a new Radiation-proof human. In anticipation of this phenom, I suggest we call them Radiasians! |

At 2:30 a.m., when I have spent most of my money getting a girl drunk, only to get ditched, and then spent the rest of my money getting me drunk, if TB passes me food and I pass them some money, I'm eating it. When I can get a meal for 6 bucks, it's whatever I want it to be. Beef, Lamb, Chicken...as long as it will make a turd, I'm good. |

I can confirm their meat is "beefier" since coming under fire. Fine observation OP Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence." We can never shed our sins and regrets, only accumulate more, a burden that we grow and carry until our deaths. The best we can do is learn to live with ourselves, to accommodate our pasts |
