Anonymous Coward User ID: 1515553 United States 08/22/2011 10:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) has disavowed views put forward in his book Fed Up!: Our Fight to Save America from Washington just one week into his presidential campaign and only 9 months after it was first published in November 2010. Quoting: Constitutional American In the book, Perry blasted the expansion of the federal government and criticized programs such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. He attacked social welfare programs as "fraudulent systems designed to take in a lot of money at the front and pay out none in the end." [link to www.rawstory.com] Perry has also advocated abolishing the capital gains tax, which now stands at 15%. Of course 99% of the money made on Wall Street is "capital gains" and therefore is only taxed at 15%. Warren Buffet recently reiterated this fact. Now if someone like myself owns a company and hires people and I make over a measly 250k profit, I have to pay 35% income tax. However, if you're a Wall Street banking bloodsucker, you can make unlimited profits (millions or billions)and only pay 15%. But of course, they can also use a plethora of other tax dodges and pay 0%. Sooo.... Why does Perry want to eliminate the capital gains tax??? Is it because he's working for the American middle class and poor??? I can't believe that anyone with even a room temperature IQ would vote for this plutocrat ass licking son-of-a-bitch. |

This probably means a steep downturn is expected in the economy, like something you could only call a doomgasm. |
