EVERYTHING on the scale is doom, 8,9 10 WILL DESTROY EARTH.. a 1 will cause a tsunami, earthquakes, we are talking doom guy!! It's measuring damage to the earth, we've had nasa come out and say we're gonna have impact, and the scale they use measures damage to the earth.. 8,9,10 are the type of events that turn earth to dust, no meaurable "damage" on a scale that measures the TOTAL destruction of earth, should not be conforting... The one means ONE AREA WILL BE DAMAGED No, it dos not measure impacts. It is an assessment of the likelihood of an impact, and the threat level associated with that impact, if it occurs. [link to en.wikipedia.org] You obviously fail at reading, there is no certainty of impact until you reach an 8 on the scale, and anything under 5 is less than 1% chance. A level 1, like the ones you're claiming are doom, are a far less than 1% chance, and even if they do hit, would probably do less damage to you than that crack you are smoking. |
