Stem Cells and Scar Tissue
So, I heard some old fart from toronto had his own stemcells injected into the scarred tissues of his heart, rejuvinated the cells to restructure in a proper and have much normal elasticity compared to scarred.

Besides my next point, do you think this type of stem cell injection to be all that advanced? They take a needle and siphon the whiteblood from your bones and seperate the stemcells (guessing that's the hard part??) and inject them directly by needle to the affected areas.

My main point, could stemcells be injected into scar tissues on our exterior for people with extensive burns and the like to possibly fully restore there normal looking tissues by cell memory??

Actually separating the stem cells is fairly easy. We did it in Biology class with plants.

Re: Stem Cells and Scar Tissue
I think just about every cell in the body starts off as a stem cell, then miraculously morph's into whatever type of cell that it is required. From blood cell to even Osteocyte (bone cell).

That procedure does sound clumsy, but the future is very exciting! You will probably get your wish sometime in the future when the fine details are worked out.

That supposed 'junk' DNA turns out to be involved in a type of 'switching' mechanism. I was excited to hear that BALDNESS may soon be a thing of the past!!!

They were talking decades, so you'll have to be patient.

But if you are still alive by then, they will probably worked out how to reverse aging!
