What makes you,or anyone else, think poo is ever going to do what it does? This has been predicted so many times, it is not going to happen. Best go on about what it is you do. First off, what do you know about this area being that your from SA. Secondly Yellowstone is south east from the northern parts of Idaho, Washington and Oregon. The jet stream blows from the north, so if yellow stone blows people in the north wont get the ash fall out until it travels across the planet. So get your facts together before berating people in this forum regarding this subject.

I believe the north would become a war-like area if millions begin to flood north.
I'm south-central have a AFB nearby. Very small out in the middle of nowhere with a beautiful lake plenty of hunting very small community support system. I feel 75% safe.

Actually, it depends on exactly where they are, if they are north and west of Yellowstone at least a few hundred miles, then the ash zone my not extend to them. The ash fall zone will follow the current. When you factor in population density zones around the U.S., potential enemy target sites, climate, and location of nuclear power plants...... I'd say those people are right on the money.

This has been happening for YEARS. It aint nothing new. Thousands of people fled to Idaho 20 years ago to build a survival community. I think Bo Gritz was behind it. Turns out the shit didn't hit the fan quite as quick as they thought it would. Just about none of those people still live there. They needed money and the money just isn't there in those small towns up in Idaho and Montana. Living there just isn't sustainable unless you've ALREADY made your money and are fixing on retiring.
