Quoting: observationI was surprised when I recently investagoogled about them and discovered that the "meaning" of the Hawaiian petroglyphs is still a wide-open question. Pride in Hawaiian heritage is extremely strong. Therefore I expected that there would be robust explanations for all of them (even if those explanations were inaccurate). I was incorrect. I find it fascinating that those beautiful carvings are still enigmatic, and that plasma formations might resolve the mystery. If the Hawaiians were witness to towering plasma formations, then surely other aspects of Hawaiian culture will reflect such experiences. I wonder what other Hawaiian archaeological problems would be resolved by looking through a plasma lens? |
aether (OP) User ID: 3434838 United Kingdom 10/19/2013 09:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That there was a crustal-disrupting cataclysm within the timeframe of mdern man (specifically, I posit, 11,000 BC timeframe), and to continue along the lines of Scandinavian evidence, one can cite the Norse Younger Edda which contains this: "That part of Ginungagap that turns to the north was filled with thick and heavy ice and rime, and everywhere within were drizzling rains and gusts. But the south part of Ginungagap was lighted up by glowing sparks flying out of Muspelheim." -In the earliest Scandinavian mythic formulation, "Muspel" was a region to the south. "Ginungagap" referred to a vast region between Muspel and a cold land to the north, Niflheim. Later on, "Ginungagap" became a term for the North Atlantic Ocean. "Heim" meant "place." -It appears that this account is telling about a post-disaster scene in which the northern parts of the Atlantic Ocean were icy and there were extreme eruptions to the south. An old Finnish legend in the Kalevala (Davidson, H.R. Ellis, "Gods and Myths of the Viking Age" (Bell Pub., 1978, p. 32) tells of a horrendous ancient cataclysm that was followed by a "generation-long darkness." -This certainly could refer to an ice-age-producing disaster. I have just returned from market, and my face is still burning from being outside all day. I figured, I would further exacerbate said, by returning outside. lol. Was a beautiful day today. So much so, I notice what looked like a 'heart reflection' in the fountain created by the slope of the booth canopies and the autumn trees in front of them. It's not a sunburn. It will stop in a bit. Just part of it. As I mentioned earlier, I had planned to watch the game with my friends tonight but my phone had other plans. Although the bill is paid in full, my phone wouldn't work. Text went unsent, and I could place no out going calls. And...there was no 'live' operator option to speak to someone. I took that as a hint, and decided just to come home. :) Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

I'm beat, just poured years of research into an organized collection. Been going non-stop for too long, so time to rest. Otherwise, beauty of a day here in the sun of Southern Illinois. I read an article about how there were over 100 bridges in disrepair throughout this obamarhama state, modern pharoahs. Very dangerous situations with older infrastructure crumbling worldwide. Anywho, was riding down a road I used to jog down with old pals, and thought I'd venture beyond where we use to run to before turning back. Ended up driving under a RR bridge, wet all around to a blocked road a few car lengths to the other side. Had to stop at a Y with chains blocking both directions. Deja vu all over again (I live in and out of it ;)). Did a walkabout while a fawn down the blocked road was eyeballing me. Mushy berms, one side of the bridge had major concrete pillar damage and was propped up with timbers. The other side hadn't been fixed (though I wouldn't call the fixed side structurally sound). So, in the middle of lil egypt here's a backwoods bridge about to collapse while powerplants down the line are fed with coal loads to the tune of endless loads. If that bridge fails, then fuel logistics would be compromised. Long story short. I called a fellow I know and asked to come out and check it and sent him pics. It's scary that they would take a structure that's small, yet over a hundred years old and repair one side but not the other. Like the other side isn't degrading similarly? Reminded me of a roof I own that was repaired in halves from two different storms and tightwad insurance companies. So, you get the drift. We go out and venture and see where we go,,, and See -) Cheers! |
