Anyone remember when then sun used to be yellow?

i remember,now its white and blazing hot! and this might be imposssible but it also seems closer esp when right overhead

Yes I am old enought to remember, you could look at it for a couple of seconds too. Not now.

I personally believe in the fluff theory and think everything is changing vibrational frequencies. I hope its true and i am able to fly soon.

It was yellow until about 1998...then it went white and has been getting whiter and brighter ever since.

im 39, i remember the sun was yellow all through being a kid. Pictures we drew of the sun were yellow.

Yes I do remember. And it is also hotter. Feels like the rays are hotter or something. Almost unbearable. The world is coming to an end. How long do you think, 50 more years? 100?

The Sun is getting hotter and whiter every year. The rays are unbearable. But Earth's atmosphere is changing, not the Sun.

Seriously tho, I remember it being very yellow and the sky a deeper blue. Now the instant I go out into the sun I can feel it cooking my skin.

I also remember when jets left two tight parallel contrails that you could watch evaporate almost instantly.

I am 52. It was yellow. I used to be able to squint and look at it for a half a second. Now, it's white and I can't even begin to try to squint and look at it. Aren't there scientists somewhere who keep track of the color of the Sun and the amount of energy coming from it?

It sounds totally crazy op, but I believe you are right. I'm 46, and as others have said it seems to be much hotter and brighter than it used to be.

Did anybody of you make a spectral analysis of the suns light?

Quite easy:

Take a prism.
Refract the suns light.
Make a photo of the spectrum.
Go to you local library and compare your spectrum with the suns spectrum printed in 50 or 100 year old astronomy books.

Could be. Either way how long has it been yellow before it changed...thousands of years or more? In merely 40 years it seems such a drastic change in a short time.
