Tragic ...but does it really take into account the violated trust this young girl put in him and how that will scar her for her entire life? He loses 10 years of his? Nah, not tough enough. He'll be out doing the same thing again in half the time for "good behavior". I really...really....REALLY hate our lenient laws towards rapists. All rapists should be castrated...all junk removed ...period! Maybe that would make them think twice.

While I agree with you....a rapist must rape even if he doesn't have the "equipment" to do it......He will just find something else to use.....

I read an article about rape once years ago. The woman tried to make the guy change his mind by telling him that she had AIDS....he ended up using a leg he'd broken from her coffee table to do the deed......
