White House: President Obama "Strongly" Supports an Assault Weapons Ban and Would Support New Gun Control Legislation

To me it is becoming pretty clear that they are only going after assault weapons. This was done before in the 90's right? I remember my then husband remarking he could now buy one legally or something like that.

Will it be that bad if we go back to the way it was in the 80's?

Is that the agenda?

The country is certainly more on edge now, so maybe any gun legislation will lead to violence. I'm really afraid of violence over this.

Why do they keep harping on Asperger's what is going on here...this is ridiculous..

ahh Sanjay has led us there it is the "lack of empathy" caused by video games (if I read between the lines he is saying Asperger's or for that matter any child who was on Adderall for an extended period of time has trouble with empathy...that is a sad truth I agree with....

ya see folks.....it was just a matter of time...all they needed was to create the right scenario, the perfect tragedy to get the people to BEG for their govt to help them.

I would like to see the ban on violent games. Too many young kids are getting ahold of these games, mostly because so many young adult males enjoy them and play them with their young children around.

Yes!! Well done President Obama. I, for one, delighted there will be much tighter gun control in the US. Some children may have a chance to live now.
