He (the protagonist) noticed him (the immortal) eating in a restaurant. The immortal ate *perfectly*. No spills, no wasted movement, no drops, no crumbs. No normal person does that. Sorry I don't remember any more about the story, all those brain cells are dead. Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes and the grass grows by itself. Hey! I'm a Zen Master! And I thought I was just lazy. |

Far from truth, but there is more I can tell if this kind of subject peaks your interest. -Immortal Wars- All immortals go through a mental breaking point. Being immortal means losing your loves, friends, and seeing everyone you are close to pass away. With more time comes more trajedy. It is the way of life. Having eternal(*) natural life puts the immortal outside of the mortal ways, and so at one point or another the immortal must face this and come to terms with it. Many immortals are dark in character, shady, distant, and hardened due to this. Immortals who cannot mentally survive their breaking point either choose death or choose madness. Something I mentioned earlier is that some immortals look upon themselves as gods. This state of mind combined with the madness and not accepting their life is poison, deadly. Other immortals become their equals and mortals become a very lesser thing. The war between immortals in the past has often been sparked by these immortals who look upon themselves and fellow immortals as gods. They may choose to seek, join, and fight others. Sometimes madness is a cruel form of brilliance, and so they gain support from mortals with incredible success. Some battles in history could be creditted to such immortals. A clash between two immortals driven mad could be history worthy indeed. It could sound epic, but in the end I suppose I am simply telling you about the mental state an immortal might have. Mad or not, most immortals are heavily afflicted. It's a question as to whether their minds adapt or not. |

He spent several days with Knights who specialized in studying the immortal. The resulting notes and depositions that were taken eventually became the basis for the document entitled: The Bloodless. It is one of two texts that we use to prepare members for any project involving the Amaranthites. The following is an excerpt from Kanigher's conversations with our Knights. [link to www.mimgames.com] mindgames It's nearly impossible to tell the difference between one of them and one of us. They appear as human as you or I, and their intellect is unmatched. Plus, every one of them each other on a personal level. They share information every few decades about the whereabouts of us hunters. It makes my job that much more difficult. They are also able to sense when others of their race are nearby, which makes it very difficult to hunt them if you happen to be one. |

The only thing holding us to death is in our DNA, Gene number 5 is our death gene as scientist have found out and are trying to see if they can manipulate it or totally get rid of it in the human DNA string.Just thought you would like to know this |

Appearing over spans of time to an ignorant populace, this seems to be "Life Everlasting" and I might add good health. Nobody lives forever but the Visitors are so advanced they can extend your life. But there are other factors.Diet for instance. You would not be allowed to eat meat or solids. Notice the hybrids are all very lean. Jesus for instance. When he first reappeared after the Ascencion,he was unrecognizable (probably devoid of hair) and said that he was hungry. One example. |

The reasoning for our lifespans being altered is addressed directly in many ancient 'mythologies'. Each instance that I've come across in my research, in distant disparate cultures, is that a God decided if we didn't die we would over-populate the planet. And this was clearly not a problem when these mythologies originated. |
