I don't agree OP. I've met many good, kind, decent people of ALL faiths. These are good people that happen to follow a particular religion - they are not good BECAUSE they follow X religion, even though they may not think so. If they want to give credit to some fantasy being for their 'goodness' and waste their time, effort and money on such religious nonsense, so be it.

The problem starts for others of a different persuasion, when the believers become totally obsessed with their religion, thinking it is the absolute truth. They will follow its precepts to letter, even if it calls for killing. At the very least, they will do their best to force it on others (albeit with good, if not misguided, intentions). These are the 'God botherers' that accost us in the street or knock on our doors at home. This kind is just annoying, others are dangerous.

The world can never be at peace until organised religion is dead, IMHO. I am and always have been suspicious of people claiming that there is only one path to God (if such a being exists, ridiculous religitard concepts of such notwithstanding), especially when there is a price tag. There is little to no room to investigate or express one's own concepts of spirituality, when one is in the vice-like grip of a religious cult, which they all are to some extent.

You forget or do not understand that when they hung Jesus Christ on the Cross the world and Israel was accepting Satan and rejecting the son of God. However Jesus still save those that seek him. As far as organized Christianity is concerned most are corrupted as Jesus predicted it would be right before his coming.

You never need to set foot inside a church for God to save you. In fact you don't even need to ask for forgiveness because God through the blood of Jesus forgives all he decides based on his point of view. The real Jesus makes it very hard even for the worst sinner to go to hell. So if you ever pray, don't go to church unless sent by the Holy Spirit. JUST say right where your sitting: "Jesus if you are real then you will have to help me believe supernaturally. That is the beast I can do, I don't trust churches or Christians. But if you are real then I would assume you would need no ones help to save or prove yourself to me.
