TB:
Been off for a while, I call it a mental vacation. No news, no internet etc.
Wanted to let you know that last thursday we found out that my daughter has an inoperable arachnoid cysts on her hippocampus. It looks like that is what is causing all of her health issues.

I looked around the site a bit before posting. It seems as though you have been facing a few personal challenges of your own. I will say a prayer for you and yours. hf

Oh and can you send me a pm about swin. (I wont be able to respond)

Hi momma, I wondered where you were. I don't know if it helps to know the cause or not, under the circumstances, but at least you know what your fighting against now. Do they have meds to help?

Thanks for the prayers and I've sent you a pm.

Guys, hubs part of the story took a different twist this morning. As soon as I work it out in my head, I'll let you all know what's happening. It doesn't seem good right now, but it might be down the road. I have to talk to hubs some more. He's sleeping right now. I'm still trying to decide if he's going into my dog house or not. Right now, he's at the door! It may take awhile, so bear with me.wakeup

Re: Coffee Klatch
Flava - I think you jinxed me! In the last week we have had to change out the sprinkler timer box, fix a leaky hot water heater, change out the freeze blow out thingies on our outdoor faucets, and buy a new lawnmower! So much for saving our tax return for a rainy day. The lawnmower purchase was pretty cool though. We got a battery powered one. It's so quiet, only weighs about 20 pounds, and you push a button to start it. The battery lasts long enough to do the front and back yard. It did a great job on the yard too. I love the quiet part, it didn't even scare the dog away. With the old gas/oil powered mower she would run and hide as soon as she heard it. Tonight she stayed out back and followed hubby around the yard.

Sorry SO

My story doesnt end either. My new computer is on its way back to HP as we speak, had to completely delete contents and went to restore and it wouldnt restore, after 3 techs walking me thru it, they offered to pick it up and return it in new condition. Thankfully I was able to back everything up before doing the memory wipe or whatever you call it.

Then, if I didnt tell you this my TV broke, so my hubby finally got his wish, a 55 inch flat screen, which didnt fit in my entertainment center. It was wide enough, but our old tv was like a projection and sat on the floor, this new one looked stupid on the floor, so we had to get wood to match the ent. center and he built a shelf for it, looks great, like it came from the store this way.

Then, the upstairs AC got a clogged line and leaked thru the wall to the ceiling, down the wall and onto the downstairs floor! Leaving water marks all the way. Had to put a fan on it to dry it out and repainted the stain today.

and the damn crows are still pecking at the door everyday

Nice TV for you guys, my living room is too small for one that big. When we went to the 42" one it took a bit to get used to, I could only watch it from the kitchen, the couch was too close (only 6 feet away, the whole living room is about 12 feet wide). I bet yours looks like it was a built in with adding wood to the entertainment center.

I hope they replace the computer quickly for you. Warranties can be great.

Re: Coffee Klatch
well if they do it better not be windows 8. I searched high and low for 7 and thats what I want. Its upgradable to 8 and came with disks for both but I dont want that from what I am hearing.

Hubby just got home from golf in the dark. He said he had fun. They put lights on the golf carts and give out glow in the dark balls, and you have to wear a glow in the dark necklace and have a flash light.

He wasnt gonna go cause his leg hurt, thats another thing that happened this week, but I told him to go, he doesnt have to play good, its just for fun, I can see that he is happy he went. I am glad cause he never goes anywhere without me except work, so this was a good thing!

Glad to hear hubs went out and had some fun. Hubby and I spend way too much time together. We work together all day then come home. It's nice when we have other things to do.

I hope you get what you want on the computer. It seems windows 7 is better, I think 8 still has bugs to work out.

yes, 8 has bugs to work out and who the hell wants touch screen. My screen gets dirty enough already who needs finger prints. My iphone gets wiped off at least 4 times a day but at least I can do that on my shirt or something.

I work with my hubby too. He is in the field and I am at home office. I am his boss so to speak, works out better that way.

Sorry I "threw up" all over last night, guys. I'm better today. I don't want you all to think hubs is a bad guy, he's not. I think maybe, we're both going through some kind of mid-life crisis. So much crap, so little time. I guess I'd just had enough yesterday.

Nine's, I tried to leave it up until you read it, but I needed to delete it. I promise I will call you in the next couple of days. Monday at the latest.

Flav, all is good for now. Promise. I wouldn't lie to you. grouphug

Last night we found out our foster daughter had her artwork selected for "The Best of the Best" for our school district. She also got an award. I asked her why she did not tell us about the art show. She said "I'm not used to having someone want to go". It just about broke my heart. Her mom never went to anything so she just doesn't even mention events now. I told her to please let us know about these things, we would love to go.

That is so sad to me. Mostly because she didnt think anything of it. Grew up not having someone there to share her successes with and now almost grown up and not thinking twice of enjoying her accomplishment alone. Normalcy for her.

On the other hand, if one of our kids had something going on that we couldnt attend even though we never missed one before you would think the earth cracked in two they would make such a big deal about it.

I remember my son in grade school, I always ran the end of the year field days and the games etc that went with them. When it came to his turn to be the 5th grader, I put the entire thing together and had a gall bladder attack two days prior and ended up having it removed. I was in the hospital and he was there crying "why couldnt I just hurry up and get better" I was there for the girls.

Thats always how it is, sad.

My middle child is moving out :(

She is the most helpful around here. I am gonna miss her. I told her since she is hell bent on moving out and living alone, I would let her have one of my places to live in at a very reduced rate. I dont want her struggling in her last semester of college. I wanted her to wait, but her and her older sister clash when in close quarters and she is done!

This way if she ends up getting a job elsewhere she isnt locked in to a lease either. Gonna miss her even though shes only 8 miles away. She is going to start moving stuff this week.
