DARPA funded - Wireless Sensor Networks - This will scare you

The future is going to e a very scary place...

It's already here. The cell phone is highly productive for DARPA's purposes. I've heard it called "The snitch in your pocket"!
The age of singularity is just about here. And people like Mr. Kerry even wrote papers on how "it was a good thing" !Check out the new brain mapping program. Interfacing now a days is very easy. Not my forte', but it's well beyond what you would imagine.

DARPA used to have a video a long time ago on what their objectives were and how it would be done. Scary stuff!

If you want to know the answer to this just look at your new green lightbulb, it has an FCC Reg. number because all electronics that emit a signal are required to be FCC approved. They transmit and read other WiFi signal DUH---

I love how they make it seem like an amazing innovation and the sheeple go right along with it not realizing the multitude of ways this could be used to turn them into absolute slaves. Our lives are already overmonitored and no one's life is their own anymore with huge corporations whose sole purpose is compiling BIG DATA on EACH Citizen. Texas has legislation pending that will allow people to opt out of SmartMeters! I can't wait to get mine off my house.
Meanwhile, you can block the smartmeter signal from entering your house using plain aluminum screening. My meter is located on the other side of my master bedroom closet. I covered that wall with aluminum screen. They can monitor my usage but nothing's coming toward my house at least.

Wi-Fi signals enable gesture recognition throughout entire home

Researchers have shown it’s possible to leverage Wi-Fi signals around us to detect specific movements without needing sensors on the human body or cameras.

By using an adapted Wi-Fi router and a few wireless devices in the living room, users could control their electronics and household appliances from any room in the home with a simple gesture.

“This is repurposing wireless signals that already exist in new ways,” said lead researcher Shyam Gollakota, a UW assistant professor of computer science and engineering. “You can actually use wireless for gesture recognition without needing to deploy more sensors.”

Breathe Easy:

It’s possible to detect a person’s breathing rate by surrounding him with radio waves. Neal Patwari’s wireless engineering group at the University of Utah designed a network of 20 inexpensive radio transmitters that are placed around a patient’s bed. Then they created an algorithm that detects a stationary person’s breaths better than current detectors do. Patwari plans to upgrade the algorithm by the end of the year to filter out body movements too. The system could someday be used in hospitals in place of tubes and masks.

They're installing these smart meters all over my city now. I'm scheduled for July. I don't want one. What can I do?

Even the everyday stuff we use is getting scary as far as invasion of privacy...

"Color uses your iPhone's or Android phone's microphone to detect when people are in the same room. The data on ambient noise is combined with color and lighting information from the camera to figure out who's inside, who's outside, who's in one room, and who's in another, so the app can auto-generate spontaneous temporary social networks of people who are sharing the same experience.
Another app discussed is, Shopkick, which gives people rewards for walking into certain stores. While you might think it could accomplish what it needs with GPS, apparently the stores in question have special devices that emit sounds that you can't hear, the microphone on your phone can pick up, thus "confirming" that you really entered the store."

My neighbor and I recorded one of our neighbors telling COMED they weren't allowed on her property...comed called the cops and we recorded the cops telling her she would be arrested and let comed enter her property anyway. Then my neighbor who was holding the cell phone was arrested for recording the police!

It's a lost fight already folks.
