WBC are a fucking PsyOp. I believe NOTHING that I hear and about half of what I see. Everything about the Westboro Baptist Church reeks of government bullshit.

WBC stated in 2011, they have only 40 members. FORTY. What other tiny church gets that kind of media attention?

1. Unlike any other protest group, they are afforded MASSIVE police protection. A full scale riot crew comes out to protect them wherever they go.

2. Who's paying for all of this? It cost several million of dollars a year to send a group their size on a year round, national tour. Hotels, air fair, living expenses... etc. And don't forget how much police, fire and ambulances cost every city in America to rent out.

3. Phelps has direct ties to Al Gore. A "hard core Christian Conservative"... who use to be in bed with "Mr. Liberal". Nothing stinky about that at all.

4. They don't recruit new members. Period. The only Christian church in the world not looking for new recruits. People who supposedly feel as strongly as they do about people going to hell for sinning... aren't looking to actually "save" anyone by inviting them to church. There is hypocrisy and then there is shit that simply does not add up.

Their agenda is as simple as it gets.

1. Misdirection. Bait & switch.

2. Discredit Christianity and turn the average person against it.

People used to get pissed off at the government when local kids started to come home from bullshit wars dead. Now they get pissed off at Christians in general. Gee, where have we seen that tactic used before?

You know the one where our government commits cold blooded murder on a massive scale and them blames the murder on their enemy? WTC? Gun owners? No?
