She would sweeten it with a dollop of brandy and sugar if we had a fever. Good stuff. Enjoy! They say it's good for digestion and liver function. I was told that it would be bitter like coffee but I don't find it that way at all. It has more of a flowery flavor to me. To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders. Its not naturally bitter, at least the kind I had which was home made was not. It was kind of bland with a bit of a perky aftertaste. When not imbibing it with brandy and sugar, we sometimes added honey to it as well. Its supposed to be good for you. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73639670 United States 04/18/2017 04:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sometime last year I had a strong feeling about feeling about a disturbance in Fiji I posted it on Facebook and a few days later there was a LARGE earthquake. But I now never go on Facebook, so I'm reluctant to even bother going back there for any reason. Now I cannot find any record of what I believe was a 7.9 or 7.95 earthquake in Fiji sometime last year (2016), would anybody else know the best and most direct way to find that info? |

KickinIt User ID: 56337101 United States 04/18/2017 06:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hope all are doing well. Quoting: WhiteAngel Saw the GI doctor yesterday and will have and upper and lower endoscopy done in hopes they can figure out why I am having severe abdominal pain off and on since Dec. Hoping they can fit me in on Friday but who knows when it will really happen. It will be done at the hospital with the possibility of just using general anesthesia as I almost always come up out of the light sedation usually used for a colonoscopy - seems I have kinky intestines lol - and in severe pain. Never had the upper done, just glad I will be out. Personally, I think most of this has to do with the gallbladder removal followed by a hernia repair a year later. There are certain issues that fall into the category of TMI but I think it is effecting my liver and too much bile being produced. The GI doesn't agree - of course. She is convinced without even seeing me that it is an ulcer. Had one of those when I was 12 and I know what ulcer pain is - this is different. Most like the gallbladder attacks before I had that damned thing out. Anyway, God willing, the problem will be found and fix and pain will be over. Your assessment sound spot on (although I'm no doctor). I bet it is related to the gallbladder/hernia stuff (although diverticulitis crossed my mind). An endoscopy doesn't sound fun at all, but I'm glad you are being proactive and I will keep positive thoughts that it's nothing major and easily fixable. |
