Holy cow that was mesmerizing!! That's super cool. My brother used to have a sheepdog (I forget exactly what type, but it looked like the dog from Shaggy D.A.). Anyway, whenever there were a lot of us visiting and in his house at the same time, the dog would constantly roam the house finding each of us, and he'd bark at us. My brother said he was trying to "herd" all of us. He said it took them some time to figure that out, but for a while when they first had him he'd bark and they'd always find themselves ending up in the same room, thanks to the dog. They'd follow him trying to figure out what he wanted/why he was barking, but he only wanted them to all be together in one place :)

Sorry you're parents aren't supportive of you taking a year off school. I hope you get the doctor's letter, that might get them on board if your doctor says you need a break from school. Hey, whether medical leave or dean's leave - if either gets you the break you need and want, then go with it!

I'd do uppers weekly over a lower..lol. Neither procedure is that bad, but the prep for the lower is..literally..quite shitty.

I do thanksgiving with one of my best friends ever since my mom died, which has been several years ago now. I have no more family here and I don't like traveling this time of year. This is actually the best thanksgiving tradition I've ever had. Thanksgiving went from a "meh" holiday for me my entire life to one of my favorites! It varied a lot in my family growing up depending on who was around so we didn't really have a set tradition. I look forward to it now. We split up the dishes and we drink and cook and sometimes watch bad tv (or football, or documentaries) along the way. We often have other guests - whomever happens to be available and looking for somewhere to go. This year a few of her siblings are coming and they're a lot of fun so it should be a good year.

I assume you guys are cooking at your place?

Damn just got home from hospital suffering from high blood pressure.It felt like thousands tiny needles stinging my head.I received strong meds lowering blood pressure.Feel better now :)

Yes, except for one year when my niece wanted to do it, we have done it since my lovely wife and I were married. We do a smattering of local family, friends, and occasionally a random person or two who had no where else to go. I think we have 11 people coming this year..plus our 3.
