Brittany's dad had been estranged from her for years. They hadn't talked in over 8 years before she died in 2009.

I don't know that that is true about the alleged dad's MIA. Anything could have happened and there could be many reasons for his alleged non-contact.

I wonder what dad's gonna do about this now? I'll bet he's pretty sure nothing will come of a normal, if any, investigation. Hide and watch - I will. She's still his baby girl.
