Dawson (SYDNEY) — Australian TV star and former model Charlotte Dawson was found dead on February 22nd at the age of 47. Famed for TV shows such as Australia’s Next Top Model, Dawson had also been an anti-bullying activist and was targeted by cyber-trolls for personal attacks online. The New Zealand-born star, who had a history with depression, was found dead in her Sydney apartment on Saturday morning. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances, although large amounts of marijuana were found in her apartment along with smoking paraphernalia. Police declined further comment regarding Dawson's marijuana use and It is unclear at this time if she was using marijuana when she decided to take her life. [link to entertainment.time.com]

Dawson Thread title is BS, don't you think you're stretching it quite a bit? She had weed in her place and was found dead, so what? That's like walking into a dead persons house and saying they were a victim of couch culture because they died in their Lay-z-boy. And besides all that, any violence that surrounds the "marijuana culture" is a direct result of it's legal status and subsequent black market profit incentive. Wouldn't it be great to heal the world, with only a song?
