In one of the Facebook groups that I am a member of, I posted this picture and story from Orlando, Florida where the homeowner is facing fines of $500 per day for having a garden in their front yard. The family is charged with violating section 60.207 of Orlando’s Land Development Code (failure to maintain ground cover on property). THROW THEM OUT bring in people that'll over turn that stupid law... |

But people still are being bullied by rogue agents on all fronts and have to stand up for each other. The Devil tries to convince everyone he doesn't exist. The state tries to convince everyone they cannot resist. Do not go quietly into the good night. Rage Rage against the dying light! |

Neighbors would get to know each other a bit better as more people would be in the front yard rather than the back. Yep, without reading the article, either HOA and an ordinance due to zoning. They should have looked before they leaped. Gardens can be grown virtually unseen in flower beds and along the fenceline of a yard. Containers also. There is a way for them to satisfy themselves and the HOA. |
