Being exposed to an inflammatory inhibiter makes your body fight to produce more inflammation. |

This is just the initial phases of research being talked about. No one is recommending that anyone start taking Ibuprofen every day based on this study. What the study does show though is that the test subjects (yeast cells, for example) live healthier as well as longer lives. Having problems with nutrient absorption isn't living healthier. When his kidneys initially stopped working, the doctors specifically stated it was because of his habitual use of ibuprofen/ aspirin. I wasn't going to comment, but I don't believe humans were supposed to take pills everyday and my grandfather is living (barely) proof of that. And because your grandfather had kidney failure we aren't supposed to research this effect? I feel sorry for him, but you said habitual use of ibuprofen/aspirin, which isn't the same thing as a regimen of Ibuprofen. Regardless, why would we not research what is causing the effect to see if we can take advantage of it's positive benefits? I know you believe that humans weren't meant to take pills every day, but your grandfather isn't proof of that, he proof that he wasn't meant to take those pills every day. There are quite a lot of people who would be dead if they weren't taking daily pills. You could argue that there are natural remedy's they can take instead, and in many cases that may be true, but not all. It's just not an either/or world, its an and world.
