Anonymous Coward User ID: 60394946 France 01/15/2015 08:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Quick question.. Quoting: BlankZ 65261303 I found a new way to tie my shoelaces. Typically, It would take me 3 seconds to tie 1 shoelace. That's a total of 6 seconds for both shoelaces. This new method of tying my shoelaces saves me 1 second per shoe. That's a total of 2 seconds saved. Now for the question. How many seconds of my life would I save if I tied my shoelaces using this new method for 70 years straight? Assuming I use shoes with laces everyday. Things to help you out: In one calendar year (365 days) Hours - 8765.81 Minutes - 657,435.75 Seconds - 39,446,145 2 time 365 = 730 x70 = 51100 oops my bad again.. its 51100 This is easy math I guess... Thanks for the help! |

That would be nearly impossible to document unless you are VERY dedicated. The fun part is seeing raw numbers. |
Hydra User ID: 67039693 Germany 01/15/2015 08:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So you're saving 2 seconds per day. That's 730 seconds per years or 12 minutes 10 seconds each year. 70 x 730 seconds = 51,100 seconds or 851 minutes 40 seconds, which equates to: Quoting: BadMoonRisen 14139192 1 Day, 11 hours, 11 minutes and 40 seconds.
