Why would aliens leave a message warning us about them?

Whether the creation comes from people stomping boards or something "other" making the crop lay down, once you've got a "pattern of disruption" created in a "uniform life field" (i.e. crop) you get correlated special effects.

In other words, in both complex crop circles known to be created by "cereal artists" and complex crop circles created by agents unknown, you will frequently find different magnetite levels in the soil and classic "blown nodes" within the crop, indicative of intense high-energy point-like phenomena.

Whether the "cereal artists" are "drawn" to areas already containing high levels of magnetite to create their shapes in or whether the geometry of the shapes themselves create changes in the local environments, it seems to me to be a subject worthy of study.

Mitchio Kaku's somewhat serious suggestion in the face of empirical evidence that perhaps crop circle "hoaxer's" were out in the fields with modified microwave ovens ought to indicate there is something not quite understood about the crop circle phenomena.
