I know how u feel. I lost 12 credits, tuition n 1 year of my degree when I switched majors after I realized the teaching curriculum was common core. I was very uneasy with the curriculum I was but then the year end party with faculty wearing common c T-shirts was the giveaway and confirmation to my concerns.
When I met with the program director to say that I was changing majors I was offered a $5000 scholarship to stay and finish my teaching degree. That's unheard of. There is a lot of money floating around with c c.
I said no to that much needed money because common core goes against everything I believe. Reading the OP and the articles makes my heart sick. We are being seduced by a Trojan horse and we're not only letting it in out living rooms, we're letting our kids play with it.

I said no and it cost me dearly.
